hopefully really good essays, maybe my feelings for duke will come through the essays.
publishing book next year. a kids story and after that an inlaw book. haha maybe a hook?
please chance me!!!!

Whoa! seriously you think I might get in to alot of these? I dont know though…i’m pretty much doubting everything…is there anything I could do for ecs? I like love Duke and am not sure about my scores:( I thought half of those schools were reaches for me.

if you can get a 33 or better then youre a blue devil but your numbers arent QUITE good enough for duke right now, the best part are your amazing Volunteer things and ECs, if you can write an essay about reading to the blind then you should be in at all of those places, you have solid stats but those are all match/high match schools for you and i see you getting into at least 7 or 8 of those 12 schools you listed

Specifically for Duke, I can’t really have a word until you post the SAT scores because it seems with a school like Duke, SAT scores/High GPA is very important; everything else is tipoping factors.

Duke loves well rounded students. But they do focus more on academics than ec’s. I would increase that ACT to at least a 33, 34 or higher would be optimal. SATs, you should score at least in the top 25th percentile, which is around 2200. This year, Duke had an acceptance rate of only about 7% during regular admission. And its probably going to be harder next year. But do your best, you should come up on top, good luck!
