joined an online clan (> 1000 posts there). i think i could be leader of it now if i wanted to. </p>

<p>awards:aime qualifier, > 99th percentile in "aspieness"</p>

<p>planning on self-studying like 5 more aps.</p>

<p>those really can't count as ec's. get out and do stuff without your computer. i mean, really few ultra nerds do get accepted somehow at even the best schools, but will have a horrible time in college like they did in high school because they never have lives.</p>

<p>Yeah, get away from the computer. If you do have significant computer-related ECs, then list those, but don't list what essentially seems like a hobby out of desperation. I just applied to Penn early decision. I listed my Gentoo Linux maintenance work and my being on the developer track in the hobby section in additional info.</p>
