Female, Caucasian, Jewish, current Junior at Nationally Accredited Public High School in the Midwest</p>

<p>I have not taken any SAT/ACT’s yet (I’ve taken the PSAT & PLAN though) but I wanted to know with my predicted scores and my predicted full GPA what you think my chances are… and what I should work on. Thanks!

First Semester freshman year I played volleyball and I was adjusting to high school and I did really badly. It’s going to affect my overall GPA which is too bad, but I’m glad I used that time to meet new people and play volleyball.</p>

<p>If you get your gpa up to 3.9, you can qualify for a half tuition merit award. As is, you would very possibly qualify for a 10k grant. I don’t have the url handy but you can search for the merit awards standards on the BU site.</p>

<p>BTW, you really don’t need to use “causcasian” for white and saying that your high school is accredited is kind of a hoot.</p>

<p>yea, no one really cares about the high school you went to unless it was some private high school crap that is nationally known because every politician went there</p>

I just saw other people writing it down on their “chances” posts and I didn’t know if it meant anything so I just put it down. there’s a big sign on the front of my high school that says some crap like “Nationally Acclaimed” Personally I don’t buy it, half my teachers don’t even check our homework.</p>

I could possibly get a 3.75-3.8 if I got 4.0’s for the rest of high school and it ain’t going to happen.
there are tons of people on this thread way more qualified than me asking for your guys opinions so I’m just curious.</p>
