"You are beautiful"

^^^^ hahahahahahahaha

Anyway ya I'd say it's definitely weird. When someone intentionally uses a word that's not typically deemed "sleazy" in an effort to appear sincere, it's generally pretty transparent >> therefore having the opposite effect.

Haha, good CC example: So I went to a cool SAT prep thing the other day, and I was just coming in as this one guy was leaving, and he just goes, "wow you're really beautiful." lol... awkward?? It's weird because it's a "nice" thing to say...but like what was he expecting me to do?? Thank him and then give an impromptu strip tease??

I'd say if you're really looking to a compliment a girl, come up with something better than what she's heard a million times before.

Saying "you're beautiful" sends the conversation down awkward lane reaaaal fast. Try something a little less cliche.

if that's the first thing he says, it's weird.
if he says it ALL THE TIME, it's weird.
if he says it when i've admitted to feeling really insecure - and we were having a nice convo in the first place - it's sweet.

Heres a line that doesn't work from experience.
"Girl, you have hot bod."
She never talked to me again. HAHAHA

to be honest, i'm not surprised. you prob used that sweet line without doing the seductive wink, making yourself seem very shallow

OP:

NO!! that would be nice

this one goes out to bendy and the rest of my fans

You're beautiful, it's true.
I saw your face in
a crowded place,
And I don't know what to do,
'Cause I'll never be with you.

La la la
la la la la la la

You're beautiful. You're
beautiful.
You're beautiful, it's true.

uhhh waht? i hate that song.
