<p>They are. However, the comments from actual applicants, here and on the blogs, are a good deal less so, and quite frankly I care far more about them. </p>

<p>Oh I didn’t follow PiperXP advise and now I see how mean people can be. It was a footnote for goodness sake! Well at least it makes my son smile when I kid him that he’s been accepted to MIT, “you have an email that says so”. A little levity to get us through until PIE day! </p>

thank god I didn’t get it. I would have called my european relatives to tell them I got in sorta…
