I got the email, but every time I try to log in to the iROAR portal it says access denied. Is there a solution to this?
@camcam2022 I appreciate it but they haven’t had time to look at his file yet.
Does anyone know if they put any or consideration value into legacies? Does it need to be recent or does it matter? My son applied 2nd week app opened, has comparable scores, GPA and class rank is top 15% of very large school, also takes classes at Jr College. We are OOS (California).
My son had the same problem. You have to set up the dual verification. Look for this on the login page and follow the instructions:
Two-Factor Authentication
Two-factor authentication is required to access iROAR. Find out more about two-factor authentication, including setup instructions, video tutorials, and frequently asked questions.
How long was it between when you received the mailing and when you got the email (from Clemson Admissions re: activating your username)?
My son got the email but nothing in the mail yet so we don’t know if he got into Engineering or if he received merit aid.
Thanks in advance!
@BSL1199 Same here. My son got the email today-yeah!! But he hasn’t received the mailing yet either. We have to wait to see merit offer and major accepted before he can accept. Hope he gets it tomorrow!
@adtuck @BSL1199 I called and she said my sons letter was mailed Wednesday. No wonder it hasn’t made it to Texas. You are probably in same boat. We got email Friday. Congrats!!
@TexasStudent2018 Congrats to you also!!! Hoping for lots of merit because it’s his first choice but OOS so we will have to figure it out-Go Tigers!
@adtuck congrats! what state are you from and what are your son’s stats and majors selected?

Accepted to Engineering
OOS Female

8 APs, a lot of ECs
$15,000 scholarship
@ohyeahallright1 —Congrats!!!
My daughter has not received any letter or email…does that mean she will not be getting any merit if she is accepted?
@heygurl180 No it does not mean that. The whole process of merit aid is solely based on stats. If you plug in her numbers on the Clemson NPC it will show you the merit aid she will get based strictly on your plugging in her numbers.
As to her not hearing yet Clemson admissions has ac for each state. Some of the states ac are backed up with applications. It has been reported that admissions has said that NY MA and NJ are behind. Also Clemson is really not rolling admissions they do however like to give the students who are getting merit earlier decions so as to get Clemson ahead of some of those students other notifications. For example my daughter got admitted with Merit money last week. She is still waiting on unc and uva ED at end of January and a couple of other rd at the end of March. But with the Clemson admission and merit money in hand she will be sitting in her Clemson shirt on Monday night cheering on the tigers. The early admission has made her more invested in Clemson.
