Which schools offered you a place, but will suffer from your absense (because you’ll be at Penn instead)?

Cornell, Northwestern, University of Illinois

Vanderbilt, JHU, CWRU, WPI for BME

JHU,BU, NYU, Yale, UChicago, Duke, UMichigan

consider ur guys lucky.....i got into almost every one of these schools minus Yale last year, and not penn

UChicago, UCBerkeley, UCLA, WashU, Michigan, OSU, Case, Bard, Vanderbilt, Emory

ladyinRed-didnt you get a full ride to michigan? why not yale or even duke as well. im pretty surprised. you seemed like you were going to michigan.

yeah I did...I was really excited about Michigan too, but that was before I got Penn, which was pretty much my #1 from the beginning. It was really agonizing making a choice, but in the end I decided I needed to choose the school I loved the most because I dont want to think "what if" the rest of my life. It was tough giving up the money, but my parents are willing and able to pay for whatever school I want, so I figure that's a privilege I think I should take advantage of.

Duke is too far away and I wasn't too excited about the southern area. Yale doesn't really offer the academic flexibility that I want. I'm in the Vagelos LSM program at Penn which is unique among top schools and I like the atmosphere better at Penn anyway.

In the end it came down to Penn vs. Michigan, and I realized that were they both the same price, I'd have chosen Penn without a second thought.

Cornell, Northwestern, Carnegie Mellon, Berkeley, NYU, USC, UCLA, etc

Harvard, McGill, NYU

bball, you applied to penn last year as a senior?

and to lady in red, you made a great choice :]

JHU, UCB, UCLA, USC, UMichigan, NYU

Middlebury

cornell, duke, uc berkeley, columbia, northwestern, u mich

Williams College, Cornell, UChicago, Northwestern, Georgetown, UVA...

Duke, Umich, Princeton

Rice, USC, UT Plan II

Columbia, NYU, Carnegie Mellon, Harvard, and MIT...

Mostly because when it comes to business schools, Wharton is pretty much the place to be...plus I really just fell in love with Penn.

Yale, Rutgers

uchicago, didn't have a chance to apply anywhere else(ED to penn and EA to uchicago)

Drexel (God Bless the Co-Op)
