<p>I personally don’t think SATs matter (or should matter) as much as GPA or courseload, because the latter shows one’s performance over a long period of time, whereas the SAT is just for a few hours. The fact that the GPA matters quite a lot is bad news for homeschooled students like me, but still, I see why it would mean more.</p>
<p>I don’t try to be perfect in my application… I just try to be as perfect as possible without compromising my present life. If you’re a workaholic like me, though, it is easy to lose yourself in your studies and forget about living for the moment.</p>
