You guys ready for Saturday? October ACT

Hey guys, do any of you knows what documents for standby req i need to bring??

Just took Princeton 1296 this morning and got thirties in everything except Science=23. Gah, I hope Science won’t be that bad Saturday. I still think Princeton is a little more difficult, especially on the Science.

Nervous about the science and English sections. Hopefully I can get a 30 on the English, 32 on math and 30 on reading, but my science will be like 23-26 LOL. I will take it again in December but I’m guessing that’s really late for most schools.

This is my first time taking it and I’m super nervous! On my practice tests i got around a composite score or 28 or 29, only because that stupid science section! I can’t get above a 26! Any last minute tips? I’m about to take a practice test right now.

Just took a practice test: 31E 31M 30R 30S! That makes 30.5 -> 31 Composite :slight_smile: 31 is my goal

I just hope all this practice carries over onto the real test. Good luck all!

I super nervous about tmrw… I need about 12.5 composite to pass (thanks to good gpa)
On practice test I was scoring average 22.5 (sience killing me) so hopefully if i do like this in January i’ll be in OK STATE… GOOD LUCK GUYS!! :D

Same here. International… So psyched for tomoz lol… Need to brush up on my Science tho. Anybody with some good tips?

Just did a trial test today (Princeton review)

English test -31
Mathematics test - 33
Reading test -29
Science test -27

Math test could have been a 35 or 36 if it weren’t for a few careless mistakes. The scientific passage on the reading test was pretty hard (got 5 out of 10 questions right on the last passage). One passage on the science test was ridiculously hard (2 out of 6 or 7 I believe). English test was pretty accurate, though there are areas I could definitely work on.

Overall, I think I’m prepared for the test tomorrow! :^)

Guys from where do you take trial tests? From booklet of this and past years?? Because i was doing those examples…
PS: Can i take purse with me??

Just got this: English 36 Math 30 Reading 34 Science 34
Math is really screwing me over right now. My strongest is definitely English and Science.

i’m all over the place…
PR first test…

English - 32
math - 35
writing - 33
science - 35

but the PR test 2
English - 34
Math - 32!!!
writing - 33
Science - 35

i think math and science are my strongest… but my biggest issue is with the time management in science… i’m always 2 mins too late :s

overall i think i’ll probably get like a 32/33…but id loved a 34/35 :)

Can those that are good at science give me tips for speeding it up?

I’ve been preparing the last few days…I’d be content with a 30+ since I got a 28 last time. I’m already content with a 28, but 30+ would yield absolute confidence for me in making it in some schools…

science is all about being familiar with tables and graphs… and some scientific knowledge helps as well…
i usually just go with my logic and previous knowledge of science when i cant figure out an answer and more often than not, it turns out to be correct… saves me quite some time :)
