You know what I don't get?

Halfway through the year, and yet the Seniors in my class still make cliques. It agitates me because I thought we were past that freshmen stage, and for once, we can be accepting of others, even if they don't meet a 'certain' standard that we have of them. Why is this? I feel like I'm the only senior who tries to be accepting of everyone, and yet I feel like no one else gets the message. Has anyone else felt like this during their senior year? And does this go away in college, because I'm ready to spend my energy of acceptance toward people who are aware that forming social groups is dumb.

I love cliques. I’d rather hang out with my group of friends than international students, emos, and etc.

It doesn’t go away in college, instead it gets formal recognition as the Greek system.

Our Greek system prides itself on it’s diversity, good sir.

It doesn’t go away in college. I thought cliques were diminished after HS but boy was I wrong LOL. It’s not as heavy as HS but cliques still exist in college.
