you know what this is.....

Hey everyone im trying to transfer from St. Johns in Queens to another school. Right now the majors im looking at are either communications or film/video production (or something along those lines).

My high school stats and SAT scores are average.

My college stats are better with a 2.9 GPA so far.

I have good recs (eagle scout among others)

Some of the main colleges im lookign at are Chapman, Loyola Marymount, Texas at Austin, Boston U.....Im also lookng at others but i don't want to type them all down. Do i have a relastic shot at any of these schools or are there others i should look at. Thanks...

Chapman's film program is nearly impossible to get into.

I think one of the Florida schools is supposed to be good too, but I can't remember which.

Drexel has a good film production program. Communications I think of Syracuse.

yea Florida has two great schools: UMiami and Florida State

Both are tough to get into but u might as well try.

I can address the west coast schools...both Chapman and LoyolaMarymount are going to need a 3.0 at the very least. LMU seems to be the big rejection school lately. They seem to have a good program and it is often the alternative to USC. Having some film or a "reel" might help.

Ithaca, Goucher and Suffolk.
