<p>-when your school institutes an dress code rule stating that all shirts must be tucked in order to stop kids from carrying concealed weapons.
- when you gave your GC your college apps 3 weeks ago and they just got sent today
-when more than half of the seniors are taking geometry
-when school system creates seperate "university" and "technical" paths in order to seperate regular kids from honor kids.
-when your school has 2100 kids yet you can only go up and down the stairs 2 wide
-when the bottom of the top half of your senior class is a 2.6
-when you noticed all this and you just moved to the school a month ago</p>
<p>you call your guidance counselor and she forgets to call you back until mid summer and your schedule is screwed by then and she forgets to send college transcripts and procrastinates writing her recommendations.</p>

<p>-An intern at our school (like 3 years out of college), female, was caught having sexual relations with a 15 year old (also from our school). And she's married. And fired. And now a registered sex offender. Yet in school, she always seemed very nice, definitely not the person that I could imagine doing such things.
Oh well, the rest of the school is good.</p>
<p>When there are two levels of hairdressing at your school, hairstyling and haridressing. And people who are collegebound take this class.</p>
<p>This isn't at my school, but this does happen at some other school I know.</p>
<p>when you have a math teacher who can't count and an english teacher who can't read</p>
<p>when we have ONE school paper for a school of around 2500, that retains the interest of probably 2% of the student body, and we have to coax the administration to let us put it out FOUR MEASLY TIMES PER YEAR</p>
<p>-when your football team hasnt won a game for 18 years (until last year for us :P) and your basketball team hasn't won in 2</p>
<p>-When your school doesn't offer honors or AP classes
-When 10 people are in the regular calc class(10 ppl out of our 350)
-When the valedictorian ops to take study hall instead of Calc
-When 80 people drop out their senior year, and 20 drop out the last 4 weeks
-When I'm the first person to really apply to a school not in or around my county (Ie a school hours away) in years</p>
<p>when a geometry teacher seats all the females in the front of the class and turns the heater on during the summer(like, right now) so that the girls will take their sweaters off. when a geometry teacher walks around the classroom, carrying a clipboard, and knows things off a girls' desks just to watch them bend over and pick it up.</p>

<p>That's sick...from what I hear, though, one of the old math teachers in the middle school (now retired), used to look down the 13-year olds shirts.</p>

-there's a daycare at your school
-taking algebra, or even pre-algebra your senior year is acceptable
-taking calculus senior year is amazing (junior year is almost unheard of)
-taking an honors english course where you just sit in class and do nothing
-the teacher gives the students the password, and allows him to send the grades of all her students to the principal
-well over 50% of the class end up at CCs
-you haven't learned anything new in english for the last 2 years, and you won't learn anything this year either
-there are police cars for three days in a row
-the senior class is small about half of them dropped out
-taking 3 APs your junior year is insane (honestly, I thought it was pretty crazy too until I came here lol)
-where the athletic director threatens teachers to put the teacher as passing on grade checks</p>

-people complain about the good teachers
-there's a 15 point curve on an AP physics test on mechanics (where I scroed the highest with a 96)
-there are always at least 3 cop cars on campus
-there are more "deans" than teachers
-ur principal gets on the intercom every morning lauding the football team and nothing else
-he uses the same damn quote every morning
-the bathrooms are never cleaned
-when you come back to school after the summer and they say they've renovated teh place, yet it looks exactly the same</p>
<p>when there is never any soap in the girl's bathroom and if there's soap it's "watery soap"</p>
<p>one day there is no water in the school so we all get to go home at noon</p>
<p>your ap english teacher got pregnant from a student 2 years ago and she still wasn't fired</p>
<p>freshman year your class rank was out of 342, in junior year it was out of 148</p>
<p>there is a police officer assigned to your school, here's there every day</p>

<p>-in the non-AP US History class, all the tests are open-note, but the teacher said that 24 out of the 27 students in the class are failing (below a 70)
-its about 90 degrees inside the school in the middle of winter, but 35 in the spring. There is no in-between.
-we dont have a school newspaper at all
-same impregnated English teacher has her cats ashes on her desk and on the first day of school talked about Jagermeister, Southern Comfort, and that shes talking several medications for various mental disorders.
-the discipline administrator walks into the boys bathroom and sees two boys having sex
-the homecoming queen is pregnant
-teachers and students can share a smoke in the woods behind the portables
-if your car gets broken into, tough **** for you, school wont do anything Ive had my cell phone stolen and my purse stolen before in the school and on school property

<p>when people print out porn sites that they somehow get on in computer class and she if they can get to the printer to throw it out just for kicks to see if they can dispose of it before the teacher sees it.</p>
<p>when about 40-50/250ish take ap classes but only 2 take the ap exams because the teachers dont reccomend it because you get the college credits for it even without the ap exam.</p>
<p>when no one fails classes ever because the teachers don't want to have them again. the people who don't do any work magically get the 70 just so they can pass. i have rarely heard of anyone failing even though they get 20s and 30s on their tests.</p>
<p>-When a teacher tells a student she's going to grow up to be a porn star.</p>
<p>Two days later the teacher was fired, go figure.</p>
<p>-When two freshmen decide to have sex in the guy's bathroom... pressed against the window... so every kid/teacher in the classrooms on the other side of the courtyard gets a clear view.
-The principal in the school for kindergarteners/1st graders is arrested for being a part of an Ecstasy (sp?) ring</p>
