<p>-- former principal a few years back got arrested and jailed for soliciting a prostitute who was actually an undercover cop (he even gave a "speech" over the announcements on character a few days before that)</p>
<p>-- 2 years ago our chemistry teacher got arrested and jailed for having an "inappropriate" relationship with one of his students.</p>
<p>Not as bad as some of the others, but our AP World class was put in a tiny special education room. It smells like vomit and urine :P</p>
<p>i forgot to add:</p>
<p>when the band teacher (27) has a relationship with a junior girl. They date for 3 years. have a myspace together (complete with kissing pictures). and even sleep in the same room on band trips.</p>
<p>but he never gets fired.</p>
<p>our school cancelled dances because somebody came to the dance with what "seemed to be an alcoholic beverage"

<p>when a schoolmate is expelled for starting a huge fight (with another girl that was suspended) and comes back a year later to the back-to-school dance to get back at the same girl and punches a teacher in the face to avoid being restrained (while continuing to attack the girl).</p>
<p>My school was publicized in National TV (I think on 60 minutes) because the reporters found a rat in our cafeteria...that's just great.
Oh, and hey ryfrky07 regarding a comment that you had mad about your comment...I've heard about your school...cuz i live in louisville too...and yeah that teacher is severly mess up!</p>

<p>That reminds of my old public school. My biology teacher from 9th grade is currently sleeping with a girl that was in my grade. This has been going on probably since the end of 9th grade, and I found out about it about the end of 10th grade since a girl caught them together. All the teachers know but they can't do anything. My old PE teacher is all about being athletic and stuff but then you go out and see her at a bar smoking cigarettes, and hoping to get picked up by some random guy.</p>

<p>The population in terms of grade distribution, SAT scores, level of class difficulty, and rank is almost bimodal by race (with the intra-school segregation, blacks and whites are seldom found together in classrooms); the highest GPA among blacks in the school is a 3.5 UW, and the top ten percent among blacks goes all the way down to a 2.6 UW for males and 3.3 UW for females. In contrast, the whites are 3.6 UW for males and 3.7 UW for females.
Blacks make up 85% of enrollment in the lowest two levels of classes, and 15% in the upper two levels; the reverse is true for whites. Virtually all of the blacks in the upper two levels are female; the number of male blacks enrolled in AP classes is 11 out of a total of 600.
However, this is a trifling matter compared to some of the situations described above.</p>
<p>more attention is paid to the dress code violation by the valedictorian who wore a rolled up bandana as a headband than to the gothic girl who wore a fishnet shirt over a bra :o</p>
