You know you've been on CC too much when...

You have a set of criteria to determine if someone is a ■■■■■ or not.

^^This.
But it’s never stopped me before.

^^How/why do people make ■■■■■ references in regards to this. ■■■■■■ are several times worse on other forums, as well as other things mentioned. lol.

Yet you abhor CC ■■■■■■ for clogging up the ‘What Are My Chances?’ thread, because despite a 4.0, 2000+ volunteer hours, 18 APs (all 5’s), and dozens of extracurricular leadership roles, you only managed a 2390 on your SAT and HYPSM HATES you…so you must be reassured.

Also, when you followed Xiggi’s prep advice prior to taking the aforementioned SAT.

^ What the **** are you talking about kid, who in the **** is Xiggi, and when did I talk about the My Chances forum?

^I was referring to the ‘you’ in ‘You know you’ve been on CC too much when’. Add a ‘when’ to the second paragraph, and replace the ‘yet’ in the first paragraph with it.

When you often meet the screen that tells you to wait X more seconds because of the 60 second rule. And then you wait a little bit and repost, but the screen tells you still need to wait 1 more second.

^ Aghhh, that happens to me all the time!!! :)

When you use CC acronyms in real-life conversations and expect people to know what you’re talking about.

When someone is sitting next to you and they point at the screen going ‘That’s you!’ 5 times while reading this thread. :frowning:
When you feel like you’re not doing enough work in school compared to others after reading schedules.
When you realize that going into college sounds more fun and challenging than being in college.
When you realize the irony of a website intended to help high school students that makes them procrastinate.

-Just browsing through forums, you randomly run into people you know from school.

-You cite CC information when you and your friends have discussions about college admissions, but when prompted where you got that info from you say that your mom told you about it, all to avoid the embarrassment of being discovered as a 1000+ poster on CC.

When you commonly compare new HSLers to old ones

when you tell you’re friends about this site and then you have to spend five minutes convincing them that there aren’t any creepers on cc, just overachievers and ■■■■■■.

When you have friends tell you you’re on this site a lot while at a nerd camp.

Oh really.

When you start thinking of Cornell and Emory as community colleges. :)

^Hahahahahahaha :D

When you think chance me threads start to resemble personal ads:

“URM, public school in FL, 2260, 4.3, first gen., 13 APs, looking for admission to HYPSM”…

^ hahahahahahaha

Eh. More like within the first few minutes people get that feeling.
