Just for curiosity, could you rank the following schools based on which has the nicest gyms for its students to work out in? (Include reasoning if applicable). If you are not familiar with one or more of these school's facilities, just post what you like about the gym at the one you are most familiar with and why. Thanks...

University of Chicago
George Washington U.
Dartmouth
University of Florida
Boston University
Northeastern
Yale University
Princeton University
William and Mary
University of Mass - Boston
Johns Hopkins
Villanova
Vanderbilt

I only know Dartmouth's among these. Its new and super duper amazingly nice. UCLA is also out of this world.

Ah yes the gym is probably one of the most important criteria on which to judge a college.

"Just out of curiosity..."

the only gym I saw was at Johns Hopkins. They have machines, a basketball court and an indoor track above the basketball courts. I'm not sure what you consider nice. It was big from what I remember (I saw part of it...didn't really care to explore to much).

Sorry but I hope that sort of helps though it probably describes most every gym....

I don't know about any of your listed schools, but Macalester College (#26 nationally I think) just got a brand new gymnasium built that's like the biggest for a liberal arts school in the country. It's awesome.

Yale's Payne Whitney Gynmasium is the second largest gym in the world (I believe the largest is in Moscow). Also, each residential college (12) at Yale has its own gym and workout facilities.
