Things to think about:
Asian
ACT: 27 (do well when you retake)
Hopeful Major: Chemistry (Pre-med track)
How many hours volunteering?
How do you stand out? (other than varsity sports, which is a good start)

Ha, we are applying to just about the same schools

You have good ECs and a decent GPA. What's holding you back, as you have recognized hopefully, are your test scores. A 27 ACT is laughable for an Asian male from Illinois trying to get into Northwestern sadly. UMich is a match. The other publics on your list will accept you in stride. Case Western is a reach. If you get a 32+ ACT, I say you're in everywhere (assuming you ED Northwestern)

I'd say, Purdue is a definite safety school for you.

Is there anything that I can improve on my resume to get me in Early other than the obvious raising of my test scores?

Bump.......

I don't think there's much you can do besides raising your scores... unless you can win some heavy honors before you send in your apps...

btw, you go to a big ass school.
