you could just come out and say that you're val or sal. you look great, though. you should be ok, assuming you have good essays, etc. you know the drill...if you don't, you will soon...

btw......

you've posted a "chances" thread. you're one of us now!!!! ;)

Reading the title, I was relieved to know that there are some of us who are applying with "normal" SAT scores. You know, the 680, 680, 680 of the group. Then I read, 800, 800, 730.

No, you scare me!! I want to apply to Penn too but my SAT scores aren't as high as yours or as those of many people here in CC. Hopefully, adcoms will take a look at the big picture instead of just focusing on SAT scores. :(

i feel like SATs don't count that much. its so superficial...i dunno, if adcoms prefer a b**** with perfect SATs over cool people with not so hot SATs, i don't think i'd find that school very pleasant...

True, true. I have to constantly remind myself to stop obsessing over the SATs and rather focus on reflecting my personality and interests throughout the rest of my app. However, my SAT II scores are coming out next Monday, and I can't seem to stop thinking about it...

Once again, I know I will only be truly happy at an institution which admits me for who I am, not just on the basis on some standarized test score, so ultimately it will all work for the best! hopefully... :)
