I would just like to say that this is a school that has grown up a lot in the past decade, and even in the past four years I’ve been here has really raised its standards in the class, on stage, and from its graduates. We now have showcases in ALL THREE major cities *(Chicago, New York, and LA) and we are the only undergraduate program for musical theatre in the coutnry of whom this is true (and we have people who actually get AGENTS from these showcases) and our students get to have workshops with people like Sutton Foster!!!

Also, the people here are really friendly. This is a place where you can create great theatre, learn a lot, and really feel like you belong.

Is it a "cut throat" enviorment? Because that's the kind of enviorment that I find I work best in. I mean I'd like a nice school who helps you and nurtures you but also gives you the realities of the business!!!

In regards to the environment being "cut throat", I would describe the atmosphere as competitive and professional. While we create a challenging and exciting environment, we also encourage people to be positive, proactive, and productive artists who contribute rather than complain. It is our belief that the only way to succeed in the "real world" is to be a grounded and disciplined artist who helps consistently creates a positive working environment.
