so i just sent my common application and i realized afterward, i listed my father as my mother. So now in my application, i have two mothers. What a stupid mistake i made, i even double checked it too.

Is this a big problem?, Any suggestions on what should i do? i think i will email the admissions office.

But seriously, emailing the admissions office sounds like a good idea. They might figure it out without your help if your father has an obviously male name, but it's good to clarify. It's probably not a big problem (we're all human after all) and nobody's going to throw your app in the trash for it, but it's good to just clarify that info.

Heh... I've read that some Ivies are trying to recruit students with "alternative lifestyle" backgrounds... maybe this will be a "tip" for you at Princeton!

Yeah, just email them. Poke a little fun at yourself... maybe send a family picture clearly labeled: "Father. Mother. Dummy." (OK, maybe not that, but keep your mea culpa light-hearted.)
