Has anyone got an email from yarts themselves? Also does ur email say specific stuff or is it more marketing (I got some emails b4 for doing yarts?) I see nothing on twitter either…
wow with it moving back to dec 9, at this point i’ll probably just update my college app without any mention of yarts. if i win something it’ll be a shame, but if i don’t get hm or merit then everything works perfectly i guess haha

yarts has got to update this system…great program and fantastic artists but this is so stressful for the prospective members. i think sending out a big list on a set date is so much better, and it reminds me of seeing cast lists posted, lol. a little artist bonding experience .

You’d better submit your application according to the deadline. After you submit, you will be able to upload any additional new updates to your portal.

I don’t think this email indicates anything about merit/hm. I received it too, and it looks like it’s just another college outreach mechanism in which they partner with youngarts/scholastic art and writing to get student contact information for outreach
Have you submitted your application for Columbia? Or you didn’t submit it, but now they got your contact from Youngart (or Youngart possibly sells your contact information to colleges like what CB does)?
Has anyone received an email as yet saying they won merit/hm? waiting to hear if those finished going out or even started.
I know the final list comes out on Dec 9th but if you have to wait for the final list it just means you did not place at all.

It seems that on twitter someone posted that they were a winner, but idk if they were m or hm
sry mine was j for participation - but based on the letter on twitter it seems to be starting? and definitely email since its a letter
