<p>Has anyone here ever heard about this competition? Apparently it offers scholarships to regional and national winners.
(I learned about this competition through an email sent by collegeboard.)</p>
<p>Basically...any opinions on this scholarship competition?</p>
<p>It is a national competition concerning research on issues related to public health. Students design and implement original reasearch, write it up and submit it to the competititon. It takes a lot of time and effort but a student can learn a great deal from the experience as well. I know of someone doing this and they researched their subject for months before designing a study and then they collected data for almost a year and they plan on taking up to a year to write up the work before submitting to the competition.</p>
