Young gay seeking gay schools!!

@marvin100, I wouldn’t hesitate to send a gay kid to Williams. I’m just not sure it’s what the OP is looking for. The NESCAC as a whole is pretty heavy on athletes, and while a good percentage of those athletes are gay, when a poster is

I’d direct them toward some of the other schools I’ve mentioned.

Vassar

^^After visiting Wesleyan, a NESCAC known for its liberal and artsy culture, I cut it partly because the atmosphere felt too athletic for me (kind of silly, I know). But that story might just demonstrate that athleticism does not contradict an active gay culture and population.

@Sue22 - Wesleyan, which you’ve mentioned, is in NESCAC.

Yes, I know, but since the OP seems to be looking at NESCACs I though it made sense to recommend the artsiest/most liberal of the NESCACs, (which s/he is already considering.)

Why is there the assumption that gay is mutually exclusive to jock or that gay means artsy?

Precisely, @ucbalumnus

Ooooops. I meant Pomona, not Willians. Wrong coast altogether! Hehe!

You’re right, I shouldn’t have engaged in stereotyping.
