I actually just went to the bottom of the list and saw my name wasn’t there. I didn’t bother looking through the whole thing but still didn’t get anything lmaooo. It’s all good. @shadyconcepts
Honorable mention! However, I’m very disappointed with some of the outcomes. There are many finalists who did not deserve to be finalists, and many merit/hm winners who should have received higher awards.
How do you know? Honest question, no offense intended. Have you seen the work they’ve done and is there any way I can see the work they’ve done? @musicfreak97
I got merit!! I know one of the finalists personally and honestly believe some of the other applicants I knew were far more qualified for the award. But everything is subjective!! 
@PumpedUpNics I have seen the work of many of the winners, from videos they submitted for YoungArts, to recent performances, but that is because the music “circle” is close enough that many of us know each other already. I can safely say I know personally or recognize about 80% of all of the prizewinners for music. However, I cannot speak for the other categories at all, because I have no experience in the other fields. But judging from the music results, I can say that they are not extremely well thought out and fairly rushed.

Maybe the link is the same as last year’s with just the year changed? If that’s the case, that was a bit careless of Youngarts…,or maybe they wanted it to be found. 
@musicfreak97 yeah, I agree with you, not for YoungArts specifically, but for art/writing competitions in general. When I see the work of the highest level winners, I’m sometimes so surprised for the quality of (or lack thereof) it. Because the judging is entirely subjective, we’ll never know quite what to expect.
This competition is a waste of time. Judging from previous years, the writing category is lacking in talent. I presume this entire program is rigged.
I find it kinda weird and a little upsetting that 39 of the Visual Arts and Design students are from the same school (Design and Architecture Senior High)…
Ikr? Picking so many people from the same school is unfair.

merit in 2014, honorable mention in 2015 and honorable mention again in 2016. Wow. Guess i’m not meant to be a finalist ever lol
