Hey guys!! I just got a call and an email today saying that I’m a finalist in Classical/Indian dance! I live in TX.

yeah, i doubt i won anything. but i’d love to exchange work and get some feedback on it from the writers here. let me know if anyone is down. 
has anyone in spoken word won yet? i’ve seen one regular poetry finalist on twitter but that’s it. all other writing winners i’ve seen have been short story, CNF, or novel

@writergal5 yeah you have to call back and let them know if you are coming to YoungArts Week. same though, i was just trying not to cry and didn’t hear 90% of what she was telling me lol
@writergal5 Yeah you have to call back to confirm your attendance to national week in January by the 31st.
@glamourbiscuit even if you don’t place in Youngarts (like me, lol) you should submit your work to other places. Last year I didn’t place in Youngarts for Short Story, but I submitted the same work to Scholastic and got a Gold Medal!
Hi! Does anyone know if all award levels of Dance has been notified?
@throwawayfordays unfortunately this is my last year for anything cause I’m not liger in high school and next year I’ll no longer be 18
@dancingrl according to twitter post by youngarts they are still notifying all award levels.
I assume they’re done notifying all of Writing, primarily Short Story?
