<p>Both my kids don't do sports at all, but one thing I did tell them is that if they weren't going to do a sport they had to get exercise by walking to and from the high school. (It's about a mile and a half each way.) I think it's okay not to do soccer, but I would want him to do be doing something - and most gym classes don't provide nearly enough exercise.</p>
<p>Thanks all. So far, he's fine and I'm having a hard time - I've decided maybe it's ME that's emotional about older brother going off to college. Actually, I'm sure of that - as someone said on another thread - "now where are those tissues?"
But it's all good and wonderful to see them so ready to move into their respective next stages. I'm just not ready to move into mine!</p>
