Isn’t it amazing? I have made so many friends on this forum. Some, I’ve had the pleasure to meet in person. Some, we meet on Facebook or just on this forum.

I celebrate with all of you as our kids take this last step toward closing this chapter of their lives.

Our incoming freshman daughter is the newest member of the Alabama Forensics Council (speech team) and has received her official scholarship offer! She competed in the annual UA Hall of Fame tournament this past weekend where she was 3rd overall speaker. She placed 1st in Original Oratory, 2nd in Prose, and 6th in Poetry. She also won 5th place team sweepstakes (out of 31 schools) all on her own - she was the only one competing from her high school. Needless so say, we are very proud of all the hard work she has put in and excited for this next chapter in her life. Roll Tide!!!

OK, we’ll take her. ;)

Awesome achievement. Roll Tide!

He will be a varsity swimmer and part of the Rising Tide!
Alabama made the whole family feel like part of the Bama family from the very first and that is why my DS is going out of the Great State of Texas for college. We now love Alabama just as much as Texas. Check back next year, may no longer be just as much, maybe more.
