My guidence counselor told me that last year someone at my high school got into Fordham using the "Your Choice" application which I think is a special application where you're given priority and don't have as many requirements (I got something similar for Brandeis, called the Blue Ribbon App). Has anyone gotten one this year, or do you know when they'll be sending them out?

I got one. They sent it through email a long time ago for me.

My D applied EA using the My Choice application. She was going to use the Common App, but the chance to save some $$ appealed to me -LOL! I wondered if she got the email because she had visited the school last spring, but really not sure.

I just sent in the "your choice" application yesterday for early action!

yea i applied for that too. how do they pick who they send it to?

I applied using this....do they send it to everyone or yea...how do they pick who they send it to? I never visited or anything. Does it mean that your chances of getting accepted are better? Cuz that would be cool...

I just got one sent to me, well they asked if I would like the your choice application, since I didn't think I would get into Fordham I threw it away. Do they only send it to a special group or something? I feel like an idiot now. Guess I should start digging through the trash to find it.

i applied using it. i randomly got it in the mail before i had visited it or anything. i dont know anything about it...because when i went to a fordham info session and some other kid asked the representative about it and he kind of glossed over it and didnt really tell us anything. he looked kind of uncomfortable but i dont knoow. wish me luck!

My son received one last year. We both liked that it was EA and FREE! He got in but couldn't go because they didn't give us enough money. I would use it though for the convenience and early notice. They got back to us right on time, a few days before Christmas.
