Alright, imagine that you're at a blazin hot party, and nelly's classic "Hot in here" comes on . . what do you do??

a) stand against the corner until one of your more outgoing friends convinces you to bust loose
b) jump right in, even if you're the 1st to start dancing
c) dance, but with a group or another partner, never alone
d) just go crazy, without caring what others think

which do you choose?? even though 2400s/4.0's are pretty important, no one cares after you get accepted. knowing how to dance with some decency is imperative if you want to make college "the best time of your life".
How do you think you compare to others at a dance, really good, so-so, horribly bad? As much as I'd like to say my dance moves are undeniably perfect . . . there's still room for improvement.

That being said, a girl (hah, white and very tall/skinny) teaches other kids how to dance, mainly hip-hop. she's come over to my house a few times heh.
Talk about an awesome EC, double killer, prepare you for the college application and for college parties !

now tell me how you show others up once the dancefloor opens ;)

child, you need to learn to dance to fast songs!
yeah i guess at school dances, you're more aware since most people are shy, at least at first. but at college, well most have too much to drink anyway right? . . so you probably aren't singled out and being watched if you dance alone

If I hear a song, I grab my friends and head for the dance floor (although, at parties, it's usually the same place you're already standing, lol, unless it's a HUGE place which isn't likely). I don't care what people think when they see me dance, but I'm not gonna go out there by myself if my friends are right there next to me! Usually, I grab one of my guy friends and we do latin or swing to whatever is on and incorporate some, er, grinding techniques into it, haha. It's really awesome.

PS I'm a white girl and I definitely have rhythm! It's not true that white people can't dance!

c) dance, but with a group or another partner, never alone

It's all about that grindin'!! lol..

But yeah I'm a good dancer, well good enough to teach hip-hop at a local studio, but I do have trouble with some of the club moves (Ex: harlem shuffle). But I'm getting better with learning how to dance casually, because most people don't breakdance at a party, and I know people would look at me as if I had lost my mind.

oh man. . some of you guys sound really experienced, I wish I could breakdance . . isn't the harlem shuffle the 1960s james brown style stuff? that's still going around?

cluuubbss . . can't wait . . dancin all night, the raving, everyone just DANCES, you have no idea who is rubbing up against you ahah

Martha, i used to be like that, but now I really like to dance. it's the time when you can go really break out the moves and not be looked at strangely . . just a time to let loose ya know? to just flow with the beat. once the dance mix starts, i feel like i have all this energy =)

And I love it when you make your knees touch your elbows
And break it down low to the flo', and there you go
Now throw it on me slow
And everytime I +Busta Rhyme+, baby "Gimme Some Mo'"

Reggaeton is fun to dance to, although I don't know much of it, except for "Gasolina" and that other song..I went to an Indian friend's party and they listen to..bhangra, I think it's called, and that's way awesome, too.

edit, yeah, raggaeton is the shiz. have you heard "temperature" by sean paul? that classifies as raggaeton too, really good to dance too . . also good for the "grinding" some of you love to do

"Grillz" by Nelly is good song to dance to...and "It's going down" is a fun song.. Yeah, they still harlem shuffle down in Texas, and everyone but me seems to know it...
