<p>So, I've heard horror stories about having an unprofessional e-mail influence your college admissions. When I went back and looked at the print preview of my common app, I realized I had typed in my informal e-mail instead of the formal one I made. The name isn't bad (explodingchinesedonuts) but I'm curious. Do you guys think an e-mail could ever hurt your application? Do they really get that nit picky?</p>

<p>Well you certainly won’t get rejected from a school on the sole basis that your email ID is unprofessional (p.s. hilarious email address btw), however, it may definitely raise a few eyebrows. On the bright side, I’m sure there are kids who have worse ID’s like imasexybeast, so don’t worry too much.</p>
