Stanford

MIT

Princeton

Yale

Cornell

just as a side note, let's keep non-Ivies out of the discussion here...not to say they are not great schools or anything, but I created this thread to name favorite Ivies or rank the Ivies, not other schools. Also, if you included non-Ivies in your ranking, then I cannot include your input. Thanks.

Yale!!!!! I love it.

KEEP THE POSTS COMING!

hmm?? Berkeley is not in this list??
well I choose Harvard for number 1 but I will never get into it, that's incredible. :D
I like UPenn because its undergrad business school is the best among these.

Berkeley isn't in the Ivy League.

Cornell
Dartmouth
Penn
Brown
Harvard
Princeton
Yale
Columbia

For Undergrad:
1) Princeton
2) Cornell
3) Harvard
4) Yale
5) Columbia
6) Brown
7) Dartmouth
8) Penn

For Grad:
1) Harvard
2) Yale
3) Columbia
4) Cornell
5) Penn
6) Princeton
7) Brown
8) Dartmouth

University of Michigan - Ann Arbor. All other schools are irrelevant. But if I had to pick an Ivy, it would be Cornell.

Why is Dartmouth at the bottom of everyone's lists??

^ Because it's A) in New Hampshire (so there isn't the best job placement) B) it's not that great for graduate students C) professors don't have name recognition like HYP D) it was the last colonial college and E) overall, it's too much like a liberal arts school than a university.

However, those are the reasons that I applied. I wanted to learn- Dartmouth provides enough research opportunities, though, to keep me satisfied, so that's why I'm happy. Personally, I'd prefer Dartmouth any day to Cornell, but that's just me.

I think Dartmouth is on the bottom of the list bc people don't know enough about it relative to other ivies. Dartmouth is essentially an LAC and thus its name recognition isn't as strong as other research-oriented universities. Dartmouth is a great school, and I think it is a bit underrated by the general population. (most people don't even know of Dartmouth)

For undergrad: Harvard, Columbia, Princeton, Yale

For grad:Harvard, Yale, Columbia, UPenn, depending on which field, though..

Actually Dartmouth's job placement is only after HYP and ABOVE places like Columbia. Recruiting is amazing at Dartmouth. Lots of misconceptions. Also more spending per student than any other Ivy, richer than all non-HYP Ivies by a considerable margin, and the best grad placement after HYP.

Pretty much sums it up:

1-Brown
2-Dartmouth
3-Yale
4-Harvard
5- Princeton
6-Columbia
7-Cornell
8-Penn

For undergrad
