It’s on my iPhone right now plays music well @ss is but not party rock sadly :(

Oh yeah, and Niquii, I love Lana del Rey too.

Mat Kearney/Jack Johnson are the best

@fascination Yay! I’m glad I’m not the only one out here

Metal seems to be popular among the semi-cutting-edge nerds these days. I’ve never gotten really into it aside from entry level stuff like Black Sabbath.

^I listen to some metal, but once in awhile it gets boring.

Regarding Lana Del Rey, I never thought she was all that talented. In my honest opinion, her voice is not extraordinary, but the same could be said about other popular singers, like Katy Perry and Britney Spears. However, I really do like her song “Born to Die.”

I just like her music, I’m not all “I need to see her, I need to see her!” I’ve heard her sing live on SNL and she sucked donkey butt. I laughed the entire song. I just really like her album.

I remember that episode! Her vocals were pretty bad I guess she sounds better in the studio.

There was a top comment on YouTube that said, “Come on guys. Don’t be so hard on her. It’s not easy to sing and be stoned at the same time.” (Something along those lines.) I laughed even harder. I think she was trying k make the song sound different but it just really wasn’t working out

Aww poor Lana.

Is anyone in here an Adele fan? I am a huge follower of her. It’s so refreshing for a popular singer to actually have great vocals!

^I’m not a big fan of hers, but I don’t mind some Adele here and there.

Ditto. Right now I’m obsessed with Regina Spektor’s song Samson. I always go through these random music obsessions, lol.

^There are few experiences happier than if I were to give Regina Spektor a great big hug. <3

Rap/Hip-Hop: A Tribe Called Quest, The Roots, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Kid Cudi, Lupe Fiasco

Other: Jack Johnson, Coldplay, Oasis, Arcade Fire, The Strokes, Nujabes, Neutral Milk Hotel

And of course classics like The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, etc.

The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Prodigy, Aleksey Goman, SNSD (Girl’s Generation), T-ara, Coldplay, Lady Gaga, The Dead Kennedys, Zoe, Tina Karol, The Skatellites, The Specials, AC/DC, System of a Down, SKA-P, and Selena.

^YAY Girls’ Generation #K-POPftw

I love love love Beyonce and Mariah Carey. Beyonce is my favorite though. She is a wonderful vocalist and a great entertainer too. I’ve been to about every one of her concerts and have walked out wowed each time. And Mariah is just a top tier vocalist and musician. The fact that she writes, co produces, and composes 90% of her music intrigues me and her music is phenominal.

I am a huge 90s R&B junkie. My ipod consist of 80% of it. My newest obsession is Frank Ocean thoughhe is an extremely creative & talented artist.

I love very few Hip Hop artist (Kanye West, Mos Def, J. Cole, Jay Z, Nas & Tupac are the only rap artist I listen to.)

When it comes to current pop I am not really the biggest fan. I am keen to Lady Gaga though. I absolutely love a song she has called “Speechless”. She is an exceptional singer and a great live act. I like Justin Timberlake. His 2nd album was really good. I also really love P!nk. The pop recording artist I hate the most would have to be Rihanna. She can’t sing, can’t dance, doesn’t write, and is a lackluster performer.

I like a few rock acts like the Goo Goo Dolls, Aerosmith, & U2. Other than that it’s not really my forte although it consist of a lot of talent.

@gman: just listened to Low End Theory while surfing the net. It’s so chill and clever.
Also a huge Oasis fan. I always have to defend the Gallaghers’ honor from my Oasis hater cousins
