There is a third jak and daxter game? What is it called? What system? It is going on my christmas list if I have the right system!

Itās just Jak III, I believe. For PS2 and probably a few others.

I am totally getting it. Unfortunately I wonāt be able to play until Spring because my mom wonāt let me bring my ps2 just in case my sister feels like playing it once in a freaking year.

Haha good job, but unfortunately it was not it But itās really close, it looks very very similar! I looked through some SNES game lists and I think it might have been āFinal Fightā but when looking at the pictures I canāt seem to recognize anything, so Iām not sureā¦

Are there any other games that are similar to Final Fight or Streets of Rage for SNES?

Thereās about a billion of the old beat-em-up style games for that generation. Itās kind of like free-roaming games nowadays.

I quit competitive video games recently in favor of life because I was what one would call a video game addict. Video games have been far more harmful to me personally than any drug I indulged in. Of course, this is just me and I have nothing against video games or people who play simply for the fun of it, I simply become too competitive when I play video games. In fact, I used to be a āāprogamerāā, that is, I was sponsored by various electric companies, and attended several LANās with my clan. (if any of you know what any of that means lmao). Iām quite proud to have quit, and looking back, the games were very fun, but Iām a lot more productive and happy the way my life is now.

Anyways, the list.

Starcraft: Brood War = This game is the first game that got me hooked, I never really got good at it though and everyone simply owned me everytime I played.

Medal of Honor: Allied Assault = OLD GAME too, this is the game that got me into shooting. I was immediately one of the best and joined one of the top British clans, but tbh the progaming scene didnāt revolve around this game much so it was a waste of lifeā¦ Good thing I was only 13 lol! I mention this not because it was that big of a game, but more because it introduced me to the whole esports scene.

Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos and the Frozen Throne = I went lower pro with this, very fun game, lots of interesting strategies, the esports scene is still very much alive in this game and I still read about who is at the top sometimes, I never won anything but in the early days I wasnāt too shabby.

Then I moved to Africa for a bit, so I ended up playing a bunch of online poker since the internet was so slow and I couldnāt compete with my 400+ ping lol. I never got good enough to win significant amounts, over the course of 100k+ hands I pretty much broke evenā¦

Went back to Europe and joined the Call of Duty Scene.
Call of Duty 2 was the first game I bought as soon as I got to Europe, I briefly tried to rejoin the WC3 scene but by that time the strategies had changed so much and while everyone else got better I got worse so I switched game.

Call of Duty was only out for 3 months before Call of Duty 4 came out though so I made the natural transition and absolutely raped at that game. I was in one of the top French clans and we attended several LANs and won a few minor tournaments. After about 1 and a half years of this game I had to quit though because I decided to focus on my grades, health and social life a bit more. Somtimes I wonder what wouldāve hapenned had I kept playing, I genuinely believe I had a shot of joining one of the top clans such as Fnatic, Dignitas or Reason gaming if I hadnāt left, but Iām a lot happier now and thatās what really matters.

Recently, I tried out Starcraft 2 and that game is certainly very competitive and fun to play. Played it for around two weeks before realizing that if I continued Iād get addicted againā¦ Pretty much decided I wonāt touch video games again. For some reason console games are quite boring for me and pretty much easy as ****, I often play against some guy who has been playing a certain game for months if not years and can still beat them after playing the game for 30 minutes and learning the basic controls (which imo is quite ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ā ) so console games never really appealed to me as they seem to appeal to the masses and not the more competitive gamer. It is in fact quite possible for me to play a console game without being addicted and sometimes I still do since my roommate has a PS3.

Games I believe deserve recognition for their sheer beauty and quality are (including all the ones above except maybe MOHAA)
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Goldeneye
Final Fantasy 7 and 10
Diablo 2
World of Warcraft (never quite got how people got addicted to this thoughā¦)
Counterstrike 1.6 (I never got into it, but I do see how itās an amazingly skillful game)
Metal Gear Solid series

Right now, the one game I am especially looking forward to is Diablo 3, and I have a feeling I may play the expansions to SC2 for a short period of time too just to see how they are. BTW Iāve played COD:MW2 and Black Ops but tbh they really suck competitively and are more for the casual gamer.

Well, I enjoy games, but my family doesnāt have a lot of money. Since Iām not going to college far away from home, Iāll visit and play on the game systems we have from time to time. I do have a lot of games I love though.

Okami is my number one. Always. Beautiful. I really respect Hideki Kamiya, because the man is wonderful at creating games that are very different and always have a lot of content. Devil May Cry and Bayonetta also count right here, but not as much. Only because I love the world and story and everything about Okami.

Kingdom Hearts is up there as well. I love them. So many memories.

Odin Sphere is amazing.

Portal is wonderful.

Final Fantasy, all that Iāve played. Tactics is at the top of my list.

I only really like action games and RPGs and adventure games. For the most part, I really donāt care for shooters. I like Hitman, but thatās more puzzle than shooter. Why? Because you have to think about how to handle things and it is really about being careful and quiet. I play WoW some, mainly because my father wants me to play with him. I had a level 80 until Blizz deleted my account. D : Hehā¦butā¦games are really nice. Why? For many reasons. One is the story. It can be told in a different way from other medias. The art can often be interesting, since devs will do so much to try and make their game stand out. Things like Okami and Odin Sphere have the most beautiful graphics. Itās fun and takes away stress. I donāt quite understand when people put them down. Theyāre all in good fun. And they give me something to chuckle about or chat about with others. Like, āOh, no, Shinji Mikami is only developing one more game? Nooo!ā Or maybe hating on the Kinect for being so silly(bwahaha). Or trying to convince someone about all the time and dedication that goes into a game. Or trying to say that there is meaning in this game. Look at this game and tell me that it is only for geeks. Look at this game and tell me that it says nothing intelligent. Look and tell me that hundreds of people have spent a year or more time trying to create a game for nothing.

My ramble is over.
