Let's discuss HSL footwear. How do you attract the target audience? This should be interesting because it varies throughout the country. I bet some people here wear flip-flops 24/7/365.

Personally, I am all about keeping the fresh Nike look up. I go to a private school and wear dress shoes there. However, at all other times in public I wear either black and red Nike basketball shoes (fresh) or white on white AF1's. I barely ever wear flip-flops. Just the pool or beach. This is because I have extremely hairy feet (and toes) that people probably don't want to see. In fact, I consider 99% of feet to be unattractive and I don't really want to see them unless it's a girl I'm attracted to. Some may think the way I roll is too simple but it's how I do it. Only own like 4 pairs of shoes anyway. And I'm not the type who wears preppy shoes to social events.

I think feet are absolutely gross, but I wear flip-flops for the most part anyway.

Otherwise …
school - black flats (uniform)
classic black and white checkered vans, when I don’t feel like wearing flip-flops
winter - (still wear flip flops) mostly boots, yeah I do have one pair of Uggs, but there not the only boots I have …

Yeah, Onitsuka Tigers are sick. Too bad the only pair I have isn’t in my size.

Pumas are nice.

For sneakers, got to go with the Adidas. Although I will admit, Adidas sneakers are definitely not their specialty, imo (but then again, good general-athletic shoes are rare). The sambas are pretty sweet.

socks ruin the whole point of flip flops, i swear.

i wear a LOT of different shoes. like birkenstocks (too lazy to spell properly), ballet flats, flip flops, and then in the winter my ugg-like boots and heels. i wish i could stand wearing converse every day but i can’t o_O

I’m a couple years removed from HS, but I’ve been to my HS recently and I’ve noticed a larger percentage of people just stick to flip-flops. WTH?!? That just makes people look slovenly.

Is this a national pandemic because I don’t think so many people wore or discussed flip-flops as part of their everyday attire a few years ago.

Vans slip ons with gel insoles for comfort. Easy to take on and off, look good with most clothing, and durable. I also like adidas allstar, nike air force 1’s.

during sports season my feet are especially nasty so no flip flops. usually some nice brown nikes or whatever my school shoes happen to be that year.
