You can post what you want to get, and/or post what you thought you might get tomorrow afternoon once you finish it. I'm aiming for a 31. 1st time taking it.

36 2400
35 2340
34 2260
33 2190
32 2130
31 2040
30 1980
29 1920
28 1860

its my first time too
im aiming for a 31 as well but i will be satisfied with a 30
im just worried about timing

I too would be satisfied with a 30, but I don’t want to worry too much about it and college admissions. A 32 would make my day(maybe more than that). I am also a little worried about timing. Just bring a watch. I think the key is to not think too hard. Whenever you try too hard, you’re more likely to make mistakes. If you take it calmly, your subconscious activates, and your subconscious does things better than your conscious.

Goal: 34
Prediction: 32

My goal is also a 34. I got a 32 last time, so hopefully it’ll at least go up to a 33.

my goal is a 32 –> 1420. my M+CR is 1370 so I 32 would be so sweet because it is definitely in reach, just depends if i’m lucky with some questions or not.

i don’t even want to predict my score because i’ll be so paranoid.

I’m not disrespecting or anything, but I just can’t relate to people who get a 32/36(1400/1600, 2100/2400) and retake. By relate, I mean understand. Do most of those people go to Ivies and hard colleges like Standford and MIT?

Goal: 33
Predicted: 33

goal 32
prediction 30 or 31!

RahoulVA, the reason I’m retaking is because since we’re allowed to take the test multiple times, I might as well see if I can get a better score. This will be my second time taking it and definitely my last.

Honestly, I’ll be happy with a 28+. I don’t expect much higher, nor much lower, but higher would be really awesome, and lower would be disappointing.

…I hate not being a good test taker.

I should have been taking this test so many times. Like since 10th grade, every time or something. Sure it’s $50, but you can take it 10-20 times and colleges won’t know. I could have kept taking the test until I got a 34+. Now I only have tomorrow and September. But I don’t care too much since the SAT was my primary test, and I’m still awaiting results for the June 7th SAT(the 26th seems so far away!).

rahoul, its $44.50 for me, and $30 without writing test.

It’s not smart to take it without the writing section though because you could get a 34 but a college wouldn’t accept it. Still, money shouldn’t be the issue because a perfect score could guarantee you to most smaller colleges and put you in a safe zone for Ivies and other hard colleges. Colleges want to see their ACT averages(if they publish them) go up, so we are working for them, and they will take the most qualified employee.

Goal: 36 (PLEASE SCIENCE BE NICE!)
Prediction: 35

I’ll be happy with 29+

32, I really need it

Wow that was hard! I finish the English section with 5 minutes remaining. Probably 32/36. There are so many advanced concepts that I don’t know on Math section that I wish we went over in PreCalc. 32/36. I knew the dangers of the time limit, but Reading killed me!I guessed on probably 5 of them. I’d be lucky to get a 29 or 30. Science also got me on the last section with little time. I hear it’s always a harsh curve, probably 27-29. First time, I thought it was a good test, but I want my results so badly. I’m retaking in September unless I somehow do get a 30 or 31(I can get it for this one, but I don’t know if I got lucky on the ones I guessed on).

Goal: 33
Prediction: 31

Goal:34+
Prediction:32 or 33
