OKâam helping the economy and bought TWO new dresses. The 1st one was normally $43, marked down to $30 & I had a gift card as a rebate on a fridge back in October! It is washable and VERY comfortable & fits me perfectly. The 2nd one was normally $120 but marked down to $40 and also fits perfectly. It says âdry clean only,â but since itâs nearly all polyester, I think Iâll probably wash gently by hand or machine in cold water & see how it goes. The 1st dress was from Sears & the other from Nordstromâs rack. I was shopping with a GFâshe was looking for MOB dress & I was trying to find wedding guest dress. We hit a ton of stores but honestly, these were the two I liked best. :)

Today, I used 3 of my coupons at Macyâs for $10 off purchases of $30+. I bought 7 photo frames, 200 mini-cupcake holders, silver wrap/shawl (for MOB), quart measuring cup, garlic press, two silicone mini-spatulas and green paring knife. Grand total for ALL purchases combined was just over $65!

I use Excellence LâOreal hair color which was on sale at Target for $7.97. BUT waitâŠI had a coupon from the paper (from about a month agoâŠSunday coupon flyer) for $5.00 off any TWO LâOreal hair color products. BUT waitâŠTarget had an offerâŠa $5 gift card when you purchased TWO of the hair color product I bought. TadaâŠwith the coupon and the gift card, my total was $3 each for my hair color. Since you need a âlifetime supplyââŠthis was a great thing to get two of!

I suggest folks join Groupon for the town/city nearest where their kid is going to school. I got a groupon for $30 worth of food for $15 and another for 2 dozen cupcakes delivered for $25. S and I used the restaurant groupon when we went out for orientation and I figure I will have the cupcakes delivered sometime in Oct. to his dorm.

So happy! Just bought D a ticket she likes for only $2.50 plus the fewest miles, 17,500 for a one-way ticket. The other option was $350 with two stops or $420 with no stops but leaving hours & days before she wanted to. She only wanted a one-way ticket because she doesnât know when she wants to come back for Christmas yet.

For those who will need âback to schoolâ items, Staples will be beginning their back to school specials. You can already view them in next weekâs ad on their website now.

Last year and this year, Iâve bought Staplesâ ream of multipurpose paperâand given to principal friend at underprivileged school. Itâs $.25 a ream!!! ($5.99, but then rebate is $5.74).
Rebate can be done ONLINE!! Limit 2/household. Thru July 16.
Friend is very gratefulâŠ

Staples on my list for today. they had a free with rebate about three months ago on the same paper and also business envelopes. They want you to go in and buy other stuff but I cherry pick the rebate items and leave.

Thanks for the heads up gosmom. We no longer go through more then a ream of paper a year now but for that price, Iâll buy it and donate it to my library! I love their on-line rebates, they make it so easy to save money!

BTW, Kohlâs is having a sale right now and a nice perk is that on-line shipping is free! Just use the code FREEMVC.

July 17 is National Ice Cream Day. For those of you near a Graeterâs Ice Cream store, cones will be $1.41 that day in honor of their 141st year in business! :)

Monday night we went out to dinner at a historic eatery downtown and found they were having $1.50 burgers & $1.50 fries in honor of their 150th anniversary! Love these deals.

LL Bean has some good buys in their sale section. Shipping is free (return shipping is not however). My sis sent me a summer weight jacket for my birthday that was too big so had to return. I exchanged a light summer jacket for a fleece lined sweatshirt jacket with cute fur trim reg. price $59.99 on sale for $29.99.

Latest Goodwill findsâŠ

I scored my 4th Groupon for Sâs collegetown. I just got one for an upscale restaurant near his school that I figured H & S could use at dropoff next month. If they donât use it then we can use it on parents weekend in Sept.

Staples raised the limit for free shipping to 75.00 from 50.00 but I found the 1 day delivery great last year. One of my daughters wanted a notebook they only had online and along with paper, pens, etc., I had it shipped to the door for free.
Some really low priced items might only be in the store though.
