Your Good Buy Of The Day (Part 1)

I know! I never used to shop there until fairly recently. I really love this store! They offer some amazing deals!

Kathiep, sorry that S2 is not feeling well! Hope he feels better soon!

I like to wear a headband with smoky plastic adjustable visor when I walk. The old one broke a couple of years ago, and the replacement DH paid way too much for over the internet cracked and was way to shallow anyway. Today after church, we stopped by the Korean market where I bought the original. They were on sale for $2.99 down from $7.99! When I got home and reviewed my receipt for the six (6) I bought, it appears the cashier screwed up, because the total was under $16 for all of them. Now I can rock the old lady look close to forever!!! These visors are great for keeping the rain off my glasses, the sweatband headband keeps my hair and sweat back, and since they have a semi-functional strap, they even stay on when it is windy. When I go out at 6 a.m., I don’t much care if I look lame as I don’t feel it is yet dressing young time.

Hit the outlets yesterday. Don’t usually like CABI too much but bought a gorgeous black knit tuxedo blazer and pants…fits me like a glove. Don’t know if I should wear as separates or together but wow…70 bucks for both pieces. And a pretty blue resort jacket for 25 - will look great with white pants. Then over to Last Call where I got a Luisa Cerano pair of white pants (originally priced at 350) for 40 bucks. And a gorgeous Elle Tahari white knit shirt for 10 bucks. So what if fall is coming up?? I like this place!!!

Bought a new shirt from Costco–salmon color @ $5! It fit so surprisingly well that even H noticed & remarked on it. They have one with stripes still there–may go back & get it too.

Wow, HIMom, Costco finally has something in your size! Yay!

CABI

What is CABI?

Never had trouble finding tops at Costco for me, just none for S or H and few for D. Have always had trouble finding bottoms for all of us tho. :frowning: Oh well, that must mean I have enough for now.

Thumper, here’s a website I just searched & found on CABI

[CAbi - Carol Anderson By Invitation - Fall 2011](http://www.cabionline.com/)

I had never heard of the brand before either.

I just bought a $199.00 DKNY skirt for $34.00 at Bloomingdales. It was reduced then it was on the 40% off rack with another 20% off. It was one of my all time best bargains.

OK…so I’ve been invited to a CABI party. Bought nothing. And I was surprised to see CABI outlet store about a year later. So I went in and it was all the party stuff…lol. At about half price. Now at the end of the season, like yesterday, they basically are giving everything away. And the pants are long and fit me great. Now, I can’t find a LOT that I like there but usually can locate a few strategic pieces.
Yikes…went back to the outlets today cause it was raining and bought three more things at the White and Black House Outlet. Cute jacket for 39 bucks. The other two pieces were not the best bargains but I love them. Great B&W silk shirt with an empire waist. Can’t get too much black and white IMO…

Ha - was just about to ask what CABI was - never heard of it!

Remember the Outback deal that I did not get (forgot the exact reason already), well they just sent an email telling me that they are sending a coupon for the free steak.

Great NEM. I was able to sign up for the coupon but haven’t received it yet. Has anybody else gotten one?

grumph…I tried to get outback coupon…entered the info I don’t know HOW many times…and kept getting a message that said ā€œonly one per householdā€ when I hadn’t GOTTEN one.

They should be sending ME one too!!!

thumper, I think that was problem. I just got that email, so prehaps you will get one too.
The email stated that I should get the coupon in 7-10 days, it said nothing about the problem online, but said ā€œdon’t sweat itā€, so a little strange but a pleasant surprise!

Groupon has a deal today in NYC for $10 you get $20 at Whole Foods. I think it is good at Whole Foods anywhere. I bought the Groupon for my college D that lives in NYC. Whole Foods is a treat for her because it is more expensive than Trader Joe’s.

I just bought the same groupon for my D. who lives in Chicago.

The deal for Whole Fodds was actually Living Social not Groupon. oops!

Showmom, thanks for the tip! Just purchased this deal!
