Your Good Buy Of The Day (Part 1)

Well that’s a great deal on the WF coupon! I’m leery about signing up for too many of these coupon sites though! Haven’t done Living Social…

I was one who DID get thru on the Outback deal, but have yet to get a coupon.

Okay, so lets see who is first in line to actually get the Outback coupon! At least they are smart in sending it out to me despite their online computer error. I really felt annoyed before I knew that they were going to send it, as we have spent plenty of $$ at Outback when visiting one of our kids (it is nearby and our sons like it).

abasket, I had the same concern, but Living Social has had a number of good deals, so I decided to join. If I went through each one of these sites, and hunted all of the cities for deals, that is all I would be doing with my day!!! I just don’t bother anymore. If I see a deal posted, I will go have a look though! This is a very good deal because everyone needs groceries.

aaagh- It was Living Social. I subscribed to Living Social because sometimes it has great movie ticket deals that are good where ever AMC movie theaters are located.

I think the Outback email was just assuring us that they have now been mailed out. I got it on a couple of email addresses that I used to sign my kids up.

Yes. Whole Foods was on Living Social and in our area also. I don’t shop there often though. Actually, rarely, so aren’t sure it’s worth that effort to save $10

I thought about that Whole foods coupon when I saw it this morning, and went ahead and got it. NOTE that the double price ($20 for 10) expires Dec 13. After that you only get face value ($10) off.

just bought it, thank you guys…I had received the email this morning but thought it was restricted to NYC…

On the other hand (speaking of discount sites) I DID buy my son a refurbished TomTom from 1 Sale A Day for $60. I had a good experience when I bought my Nook there so hoping that this will go ok too.

S can have a habit of “losing” things so I feel much better spending $60 than $150+. :)

Today’s Goodwill haul:
one pr. Express jeans
one GAP long sleeve knit tee
one Ann Taylor cotton v-neck sweater
one Izod cable knit cotton sweater
one Lands End cotton cardigan sweater
one apt.9 t-shirt
one random white cotton/stretch t-shirt (to wear under all those sweaters)
two books…one hardback and one paperback

grand total $32.28

^^abasket^^ thanks! I have been thinking about getting a TomTom for my son but haven’t wanted to spend over $100 because he tends to “misplace” things. Maybe our sons are related? ;)

You’re welcome! I hope we both have positive experiences with our buy!

Haha - maybe it’s a “son” thing…

I figure better to go this route and at least have a 90 day (I believe) warranty than to buy off of Craigslist or something - which I’d rather not do…

Shoot! I was at work today so missed the tip on the Living Social whole foods coupon. I have LS go to my junk e-mail account and I don’t check it daily. They are sold out now.

I did NOT get a coupon from Outback :(

Goodwill…this week’s haul…all clothes to take on this trip (and they will get left there because I just don’t wear loose fitting linen type clothes).

Talbots skirt loose fitting white/embroidered

LLBean Khaki linen skirt

Ann Taylor shirt

Sigrid Olsen jacket (ok…that will probably stay here).

Total…$22

[Eddie Bauer | Outerwear, Clothing, Shoes & Gear for Men & Women](http://e.eddiebauer.com/a/hBOcH16ANbqecB8dc0gNsiOZR.AN2Pi1zy/mainoutfit)

25% off everything today only!

^^^Retail Me Not website had a code yesterday for 25% off and free shipping for Eddie Bauer!

Edited to say that code is no longer valid. :(

Got my Outback Coupon!! It is plastic card. The promotion mentioned it would only be good at the store that you clicked on to see if any were left, but it says NOTHING to that effect on the card. I would like to send it to D1 as the coupons for her location were all gone, but I don’t want her to order and find out that there is some secret code on the card that means they don’t have to honor it. Does anyone know, or did you see something on the card I missed?

D2 likely got her own card, as her location was available. She only checks the mail occasionally so I don’t know if she got it yet.

Got an email from Outback that they will be sending a coupon thru the mail in the next 7-10 days. When the promotion was going on, I couldn’t get one because it erroneously said one had already been ordered for my household. We’ll see if anything comes in the mail.

Don’t forget to add the ebates on your Eddie Bauer order…just log in through their site and they send you an ebate check quarterly. Their current ebate for Eddie Bauer is 6%!

Coldwater Creek has 30% off all Outlet, and free shipping with code WZH5008.

I GOT the Outback email today…I’m getting the coupon…woohoo. (now all I have to do is find someone to go with me). shellfell…I had the same experience as you…do you live nearby? We could go together.

Today’s Goodwill finds…
JJill Linen unlined jacket
Ann Taylor Loft really nice shirt with ruffles down the front

And get this…Vineyard Vines (do a Google search for this brand)…brand new Khaki pants…three pair in my husband’s hard to find (even in stores) size…these were $10 each but they are $75 pants.

My total was $45…a LOT for Goodwill for a one day spree…but I feel like I did very well.

Has anyone actually gotten the outback coupon yet? I got a confirmation when I ordered it but no coupon in the mail yet…
