Your Good Buy Of The Day (Part 1)

Wow, that coupon worked on Waterford? Is it still good tomorrow? I need to get to Macy’s asap, but it is too late today.

Bunsenburner- It is still good for a few more days.

My washer went dead last week. I just bought a new LG steam washer WM3360 on sale at homedepot for $649 - $50 coupon and 10% cashback using shopdiscover. List price was $1100, and final cost is $560 + tax with free shipping, installation and free haul away. 10% shopdiscover is a special for the holiday season when using discover card, plus discover now has free extended warranty for 1 extra year.

Home Depot also offers 10% discount to Veterans.

Bloomingdales online, $25 off $100, code X50BY1MT8O3D. Happy shopping!

I was going to buy the Lands End snow boots for H for Christmas, but he said he didn’t need any, then I was going to get a nice book bag for D1 as a carry on, but she said she didn’t need that either.

So I saved money by not buying anything. ( but leaves me with few ideas for Christmas)

I did get a Chinook book app for my phone- many of the same coupons as the book, but I don’t have to carry it around!
[Seattle - Chinook Book Seattle/Puget Sound](<a href=“chinookbook.net - This website is for sale! - chinookbook Resources and Information.”>http://sea.chinookbook.net/)

I wanted to get the Isotoner Smartouch gloves for my niece and nephew for Chanukah but JC Penny had nothing in their sizes online or at the local store. So I went directly to the Isotoner web site where the gloves are on sale, [Umbrellas, gloves, slippers | totes ISOTONER](<a href=“Totes Umbrellas and Rainwear”>Totes Umbrellas and Rainwear). Also they’re running a “Buy One Get One 50% off” on Smartouch (code BOGOST), plus free shipping if the total comes to over $50. After the discount I was below $50 so ended up paying for shipping, but still a good price. Including shipping, I got the two pairs for $44.

I bought 2 Fandango movie tickets for $12 on SaveMore. I know that others had trouble getting their vases that were bought on SaveMore, but since my D finally received the vases she ordered I thought I would give them another try for the movie tickets. The tickets can’t be used until 12/8 and are only good until 1/12/12, but I figured they would be a good stocking stuffer for one of my D’s this Christmas. There are a bunch of movies coming out over the holidays so this is a better deal for me than $10.50 at the local theatre for a ticket!

I went to Old Navy with my Groupon. I found men’s gloves that were 50% off, plus they took off an addditional 75% of each second pair of gloves (their sale today is bogo at 75% off, but I thought that since it was already discounted 50% it did not apply)! After I was done, I was told that I still had $5+ left on my Groupon! I then went back and found 2 t-shirts on clearance and just paid an additonal $2 for those on top of my Groupon.

I was at IKEA and wandered into the kiddie section (“grandma bait” we call it) and found a Brio-type train set for $9.99! A train and enough sections of track plus a bridge to keep a 2-year old happy. Do you remember how much actual Brio trains used to cost??? :)

Good shopping everyone. Love your Old Navy deal northeastmom!

BJ’s has the smart touch gloves for $14.99 if anyone shops there.

I went to the new Ross store today. They just opened up about a month ago so I went on an exploratory mission just to see what I could find. My SIL who stalks me on this site (hi B!) had told me that she had found some good deals there. Sure enough, in the petite section was one pair of Dockers pants in my size and only $14.99. I’ve been known to pay twice that at Kohl’s!

I also went to Sal Val to drop off some stuff but before I could leave, I could almost hear Thumper telling me to GO IN! I wish I had had my son’s with me because there were several nice jackets, including a long pea coat, that I would have bought if I had known they would fit. Might go back tomorrow with a son.

Everything is 25% off at Macy’s through Dec.5 - on top of already great mark downs. Huge selection of nice leather bags. The red Jambu clogs I got for 75$ are $125 online - great with my skinny jeans!

Mommusic - If you remember the wood blocks (I have those and the Brio train saved for gradkids), I think it was the NYT that had an article on them recently.

^^^^Correction ^ 25% off if you use your Macy card.

^^is that automatic, or do you need a coupon w the card?

Wow, GREAT Ikea find! For that price, why not?

no coupon Rodney, and it includes cosmetics, too!

If any Dansko wearers haven’t yet discovered these - they are much more comfortable with lots of comfy padding inside, and really cute detailing throughout the shoe.

I used a 25 % off coupon at Macy’s and I don’t have their card. The cashier gave me the coupon. It’s a Friends and Family and I believe it is good until the 5th.

Any Yoox shoppers? Yoox has some new reductions on a lot of nice things! It is a pain in the rear to sift through that site, but it pays off somtimes, like $50 for a pair of Dolce and Gabbana pants (not swim trunks, lol).

Allright, allright - I’m going to Macy’s today!

Got a cute Coach cardholder for $21 (normally $65), black leather wristlet for D’s Christmas present for $27 (think the regular price is $49) & H found a pair of leather gloves for $18. We’re all very happy. These were at the outlet shops at Potomac Mills.
