Megabus is having a free ticket give away! [megabus.com | Now serving over 12 million bus customers in North America](http://us.megabus.com/default.aspx) Wish we had them where I live!

We have Megabus here and it can/could be handy for a trip to Chicago on the cheap…but I’m not sure I’m comfortable riding on a bus on possible snow covered roads for the times they are offering!

Lots of sale shopping but my best bargain was almost too easy. I called The New Yorker magazine to complain that my renewal form was incorrect - I normally order two subscriptions, one for me and one for my mom but the form said three. When I tried to renew online, I would have had to agree to automatic renewals every year which I hate. Upon telling the nice operator this story, she offered me a special rate of $39.99 per subscription, thus saving me a whopping 50 bucks off my total price! Wow!

anyone else noticing that the stores aren’t volunteering boxes?
Made the trek down to Target yesterday. Found the candy the kids like for their stockings on sale. Picked up the Starbucks coffee also on sale. (thank you to who posted that) I don’t usually enter the food section of Target.
Also hit the outlet mall. I ended up not buying anything but I noticed that the Nieman marcus outlet was having an additional percent off. Lots of premium denim. Priced at $99 with an additional 20 to 40 off.

Went to Tanger Outlet Mall today. Lacoste was having a 30% off sale. Guess had Men’s knit shirts on sale.

I have a question for those of you who have ordered online from Banana Republic.

<a href=“Banana Republic”>Banana Republic;
^I ordered this shirt online (Brick–size S) and received it today. There appears to be shiny streaks and spots on the shirt. Do you think it may be from starch used to fold and pack the shirt or do you think it may be a defective shirt? Other than these weird shiny marks on the shirt, it’s very nice. I’m not sure if it’s something that will wash out or if I should just return the shirt.

Snapfish.com is offering 30% with the code WINTER30

A little late I know, but to add a comment (by way of D) re: Megabus – she refuses to ride Megabus because they are double-decker buses. There was a horrific accident (upstate NY, I think) involving the top deck of a Megabus getting sheared off going under a bridge. D (grad school at Yale) and her boyfriend (working in DC) use buses on a regular basis between NY & DC – I think they usually use Bolt Bus.

Speaking of Tanger, remember to go online, register and print coupons…

Freshman D at school managed to take a break from finals studying to visit a local Tanger outlet; 5 shirts @ JCrew for $ 80…

My response: it would have been $0 if you didn’t go…haha…she said, “retail therapy”

Uggs and North Face ALL 25% off, woohoo…gotta love online shopping…Onlineshoes.com. Though you may need to have received the email from them as a VIP

Hey qdogpa, the code they show on the website, 1EGGNOG, is not valid on Uggs. Was there a different code that was emailed to subscribers? I have asked for a pair of Ugg slippers from my kids and 25% off would be great!

No code, i received an email from them, a VIP type thing, and bought UGGS slippers for DW. ![]()
25% off everything they sell, BEST deal so far
And UGGS classic short boots and a North Face Kumba jacket for a friend, she wasn’t able to use th email,as i fowarded it to her…onlineshoes does this a few times a year,it might be worth registering to recieve their weekly emails, etc…

Second best deal of the week for me was IPADs 10% off…then because of a glitch on free financing they gave me another 10% off…as long as i pay in full in 12 months, so 20% off PLUS 12 months interest free…woohoo?.also included free name/phone inscription

For anyone who might have been wanting a small laminator for light use, Amazon is selling as their deal of the day:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/goldbox/discussion/A1HD7R2MA3MTSU/ref=xs_gb_A1HD7R2MA3MTSU?pf_rd_p=441937901&pf_rd_s=right-1&pf_rd_t=701&pf_rd_i=20&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_r=0FVSFVK78ZWMSWZVAQ67

That’s a good deal…trying to decide if I really need it…or someone who would need/use it for a gift!

abasket, I know! DH and I wanted one in the house but we were never willing to pay a lot for it and it was obviously not on top of our “must have” list". I saw this today and at this price point I decided to get it.

I caved and bought the laminator - I was able to get the laminator, a pack of 9 x12 pouches and a pack of 3 x 5 pouches for just a little over $25 which also earned me free shipping. That’s a good deal! And I figured it would just be a handy thing to have and I’ll bet husband will find he uses it for different things (and the kids too…)

I already thought of things that I want to laminate that I used to get on better card stock, but are now on such flimsy that I can’t stand it. Also, I’d like to use it for some special newspaper clippings, and for a listing of significant birthdays that I want to hang up.

Ok, ok, …I’ll get it…can’t get my hubby to answer my texts…so if we don’t need it, I’ll gift…

Good catch, NEmom

I can see H laminating insurance cards, yearly membership cards, important lists, etc. D will use it for projects at school too. I have bought the laminating sheets in the past where you peel off and do one on front and one on the back of the document but they are pretty easy to mess up on.

rodney, I somehow doubt that you “need” it. I know that I have managed to go through my entire life without owning one. That is going to change now that I went for it.

abasket, I never tried those. I have brought a couple things to a store and paid for lamination when my kids were little, but I have not done that in years.
