GA2012-The restaurant promo code for the $2 deal is STOCKING.

Thank you!

Well, DH bought a bunch of the new energy saving lightbulbs. He says that Costco had a an amazing special on them. This should save a lot of money on our electric bill. I thought that I would absolutely hate them, but I am actually fine with them.

GA2012MOM, glad that someone got the code to you and that you are able to make use of that deal. I bought another 2 coupons to replenish the 2 that we used. I still have a few that I bought when they ran a special a few weeks ago too.

For anyone who likes Crocs (ie: people who stand on their feet all day), they are having a BOGO on their sale items plus free shipping (if you can wait the longer number of days required for the free shipping) and you can get an 8% rebate through ebates.

MIL asked for White Linen perfume for Christmas. I wanted to get her something else and found a white linen tunic on Coldwater Creekâs web site for $14.93 and free shipping. It even comes in petite, which is what MIL wears.

Went to Kohlâs with my 30% coupon today and got a pair of $35 Gloria Vanderbilt jeans for $17.49, end of season $48 Sonoma convertible pants for $6.72, and DH got a pair of $25 basketball shorts that were mis-tagged (apparently as $35 at 90% off) for $2.45. Plus a couple packages of menâs underwear, so in the end we also got $10 Kohls cash.

The other day I used my kohls cash to get a hands free cellphone holder (just in time for them to talk about banning phones, but I use it as a gps) AND they gave me another $10 Kohls cash which I used to buy baby clothes/holiday gift for our cleaning lady. Got 2 cute outfits and a pack of 6 sets of socks for $14!

Is this Free Shipping Day something new? or have I not been paying attention?

Iâve been shopping online for years and thought I had all the âtricksâ down but this is a new one. Of course, I always found a coupon code for free shipping, it is against my nature to pay for shipping!

But this makes it much simpler. I have my eye on a Williams-sonoma purchase for a gift.
Will use the ebates link and free shipping after work today.

Eddie Bauer has 40% off and free shipping today with purchase of $49 or more. Code is WREATH at check out.

I was listening to NPR yesterday and heard that the big change with on-line shopping this year is free shipping. I know thatâs key to me and one of the reasons I do more shopping on Amazon then anywhere else. I will much more easily purchase just a couple of things on Amazon then spend a lot of time on another site looking and looking to get to the free shipping threshold.

The official Free Shipping Day link: http://www.freeshippingday.com/

Free shipping: I ordered a photo calendar online through Kinkoâs and there was no shipping charge. Even ârushâ service was marked ânow free.â Amazing. :)

Some of the âfree shippingâ merchants are the same offers as alwaysâŠwith a $50 purchase for exampleâŠas they state âsome restrictions may applyâ. I was hoping to take advantage of this at The Gap, but no luck.

I feel like I have been penalized for getting organized in early December versus mid to late December. Probably the wrong place to vent as I love and take advantage of many great ideas I find here, but these retailers are now training me to delay my shopping in the future!

I think the goal is to âcatch youâ whether youâre the early shopper or the late shopper. If you shopped early, they are just enticing you with âfree shippingâ etc., to get an extra gift or two out of you. :)

mnmom-
You probably got great deals and dont have to worry about crowds or delayed shipping.
The jacket and bracelet I ordered form CWC just arrived. I find the âoriginalâ pricing kinda silly. The jacket showed an original price of $99 on the tag. I paid like $23. And a new memory foam pillow I got at Kohls was listed at $70, but with sales and coupons I paid about $20. Its sold at Wal Mart for $30. Who pays full price (other than at some colleges, lol)?

Exactly, jym! After paying retail for college tuitions, I refuse to pay full price for stuff!

It looked like it was going to be a no electronics Christmas gifts in our family this year (due to my nothing made in China experiment), but I found a Sony soapbar camera at Costco that was made in Japan! Yipee. We need a new camera because ours finally croaked a week ago while we were on vacation. So that will be DHâs present. :)
