Your Good Buy Of The Day (Part 1)

northeastmom – Glad you got your adjustment from Lands End. I had never thought to request an adjustment by e-mail but have always called in the past. Most places will adjust within 14 days of purchase with some caveats. I remember that some places will make an adjustment if an item is moved to clearance, but will not adjust for subsequent markdowns while it is on clearance. The moral of the story is that it never hurts to ask for an adjustment if you are in the 14 day window.

Debruns – Lands End also has the same type of guarantee as LL Bean.

$50 Apple iTunes Gift Cards (Electronic Delivery) for $40

Walmart has $50 Apple iTunes Gift Cards (Electronic Delivery) for only $40.00. No Shipping or Tax Fees.

I just bought one to gift to a neice. I picked up 2 a few weeks ago from Best Buy, same deal only I got the cards in the mail.

puzzled, glad that you like your towels! I bought them last year and have purchased a few more this recently.

GeminiMom, thanks about the Lands End price adjustment. I placed 2 orders and they have now approved adjustments to both purchases.

Went online to hunt for D’s perfume that has been sold out everywhere locally, and noticed that Neiman just announced extra 20% off of all already reduced clearance, plus free 2 day shipping (and free return shipping) no matter what you buy, plus free gift wrap! My package should be here on the 20th. I should have asked them to gift wrap my Hanky Panky undies, too, just because gift wrapping was free. :D

Thanks for the tip about Lands End and returns. I just ordered a pair of jeans from AE for my daughter 40% off and Upromise has been good in doubling a lot of their percentages, over 10% in the past of what I spent. If I pay my charge off quickly, it’s “free” money toward college. Even if I have free book money by the time my daughters are seniors, I’ll be happy. One of the things I’m glad I did years ago, joining Upromise.

Lima Beasn, here is a great deal on really good towels. I got them on the last tip from here and love them.
northeastmom, thanks for the heads up about the throws from LandsEnd. My S needed a gift for his grandparents but he doesn’t have much money to spend. He was able to get two of those throws for under $16 total, free shipping and all! :)

You’re welcome. They also got pretty good reviews and apparently they were orig. $29.50. I thought it was a very good deal!

You’re not kidding! They were $6.99 apiece because it was $5 off if you buy at least two!

Yeah, I was not sure about the $5 off because it took 40% off when the two blankets, and I bought that along with a [inserting drum roll here] $7 shirt from the overstock section. All I know is that the total was UNDER $21 (including the $1 tax for the blankets)! I went through ebates for an additional 6% back on top that! I also plug in my Sears rewards number which adds up eventually for further deductions of future purchases!

Oh, and to think the 6.99 included shipping!!!

I don’t see the 40% off- am I missing something???

northeastmom - thanks so much for this tip. I just ordered two of these and my total was $16.80!

takeitallin - when you can add a promo code type in DONNER with the pin of 1585 to get the 40% off and free shipping.

I meant further reductions in prior post. Sorry for my many typos in that post!

takeitallin, you plug in code and pin just as showmom said. It should take 40% off and free shipping when you enter that code and pin number today.

showmom, glad you liked that deal too!

Thank you Thank you Thank you for the Land’s End code. I have been looking without success for polo shirts for my BIL. They are at Nordstrom’s for $40, but nowhere else to be found. Never even thought about LE.

Yea! Shirt and sweater for DH! Thanks for the code.

American Eagle 40 percent off got a pair of jeans for 29.00
