Your Good Buy Of The Day (Part 1)

I can’t decide if I should run down to my Kohl’s tomorrow to look for the discounted ties (I also have a 30% coupon) or wait until Friday when they start in on the Kohl’s cash! Does it matter that none of my guys really wear ties very often? oops - just re-read your post thumper and see that the coupon also doesn’t start until Friday. Well, that’s that. I’m going to live dangerously and wait until Friday!

Sorry to disappoint you…but I do NOT buy rugs at GW…plus the only place I like memory foam is on my Tempurpedic bed. I tried those “rugs” in the store and didn’t like the look or the feel.

Oh I didn’t mean you would buy them Thumper, I meant anyone who looks for bargains since they are like new. I wouldn’t get them there either.
It’s funny, that’s what my hubby said, “That’s the stuff that belongs on a bed, not under your feet”. Okay, we all have a moment when something seems okay…

Someone must like those memory foam rugs. They are EVERYWHERE…BBB, Kohls, Penneys, Target.

I said that too, trying to justify my purchase and he laughed and said, Yes that shows how well the marketing worked. He teases me because normally I don’t give in to those things, but maybe the love of the mattress pad went to the floor but I don’t think they will be around in a couple of years.

nysmile I got the shirt in blue with free shipping. I also saw a 30% off coupon on coupon sites later, but they only take one an order it seems.

Costco also has those memory foam type rugs. H likes the regular terry bathmats we have–they wash & dry easily. No point in making him uncomfortable by changing things around. He’s very much a creature of habit. :)

Did send S a text about Kohl’s ties. Will see if he says he bothered to get any. He has been wearing a LOT of ties, I believe, at work. He had none until he interned at NASA after JR year & now. Fortunately, he got quite a few that my brothers & dad had discarded (not worn much in HI at all). No KOHL’s in HI at all.

Made out today at Bergner’s (Carson, Pirie, Scott) . I bought several nice name brand tops for 75 % off. The most expensive was $18 and the cheapest, a Calvin Klein tank for $2.99! Such fun.

Debruns, I hope the shirt works out for your son. The french blue is very nice. Son also got one in yellow for a change of pace. I’ve only washed them once, but they really did come out of the dryer wrinkle free.

Debruns, sorry about the rug. It was only because I returned it, that I found that tie deal :)

Maybe I’ll find a deal at GW like I did last time I brought something in…they had a beautiful solid oak (and heavy) tall end table with a drawer on top and door in front for storage. It was 5.50 with no nicks or stratches. I almost had someone take it when I put it by the cashier but I had the tag! : ) I saw one, smaller, not as nice, with scratches at my consignment shop later in the week and they were asking 22.00. I thought even if I couldn’t find a place, one day my kids could use it in an apartment.

Has anyone spotted good deals on parkas? Please post if you have - need to get a good, warm parka (mid thigh length preferably) and this might be a good time for deals…

arisamp, check out gold box on amazon today.

Got Kirkland brand reversible fitness pants & Calvin Klein flare jeans at Costco yesterday and they both fit!
( the jeans had just come in- otherwise I bet they wouldn’t have had my size)

arisamp, I have this parka. It’s on sale today. I love it. It’s lightweight, warm, and comfortable. I did remove the faux fur collar (not a fan) which was an easy process because it’s made to be removable.

That’s a nice looking parka nysmile!

emeralkity4 - Isn’t Costco the most frustrating place to find small sizes?! I’ve spent quite a bit of time going through piles of clothes looking for elusive sizes when I see clearly marked on the sign that they have them! I always suspect that they get 10 small and 100 large.

My deal today was a savings on 40 cents a gallon for gas at our local Giant grocery store. They have a deal where if you buy certain products you get the discount for so much a fill-up. We still have an SUV, so I will take the time and money to buy the products to do that. I always buy something that we’ll use, but what’s required is usually in larger quantities then I would buy. They’re normal gas price is usually on the low side anyway, so definitely a deal.

My son found this deal yesterday on the slick deals website. Free glasses! [Free Pair of Select Glasses + Shipping - Coastal.com Deals, Coupons and Promos](http://slickdeals.net/permadeal/67118/coastal.com-free-pair-of-select-glasses?#comments)

I too have been discouraged looking for small sizes at Costco. For the holidays, everyone helped D search the entire boxes and display and find the ONE size 2 wool jacket they had! She was very pleased with it but it did take all of them quite a while to search through. There was only ONE size 2 in the two days we searched & most of the boxes were still full and unpacked. It was worth looking for though, since the size 2 fits MUCH better than the size 4 (D is quite petite).

arisamp, check out the Woolrich Klondike down coat on Sierra Trading Post
[Sierra Trading Post - Great Deals. Great Brands.](http://www.sierratradingpost.com)
I have this jacket. It’s really warm and very well made.
You do have to sign up for the DealFlyer email (it’s at the bottom of the page) to get the discount prices and then click on your email to enter the site.

I actually had a clerk help me at costco- otherwise I would have given up. I bet they just had one of that size.
