I actually DO use my bottom drawstring on the jackets I have that feature them but I get cold VERY easily. I’m sure your S will love your purchase & if he has an outer jacket that has the drawstring, he should be just fine! Great purchases!

I returned two gifts that S & I didn’t want/need & got a recredit to our Macy’s card. Also returned broken earphones and a t-shirt that D didn’t want to Costco. Happy to get these items out of our house & get credit for them (they were fine that I had lost my receipt). Took a gift over to my niece–wristlet from Vera Bradley & warm t-shirt with colorful tucan that she says she loves & should keep her warm as she heads back to the NW tomorrow for college. Those were my best buys.

Also, got TWO replacement cutting boards because I called the company & told them that the one I received as a gift was cracked and chipped. They told me I could toss it & they’d send me a replacement. My friend wanted the defective one, which she was very pleased with & now I have THREE cutting boards–two brand new ones to go with the defective one. May give one of the new cutting boards as a gift–we’ll see.

Am also getting a FREE replacement Roomba because iRobot has determined mine is defective & shouldn’t be. They’re sending me a replacement base, robot, & vacuum. I will ship the defective/broken one back to them in their box with their pre-paid label! Am VERY pleased!

I found my discounted ties mixed it with the Christmas ones. Not sure why they were marked down 70% when the majority of the ties were buy one, get one 1/2 price. I kind of wish my husband wore them daily - they’re so much fun to shop for!

Son probably wouldn’t really use the drawstrings, but I know I would! Will let that go…

^^ I don’t think that link is for Groupon? Let me see if I can find this deal through a Groupon link.

Editing: This deal does not seem to be through Groupon, but another business called Tippr. I am unfamiliar with this site. Has anyone who reads cc ordered through them before? I stumbled upon this through a site that lists Groupon deals, but they also list deals through other vendors.

Never heard of Tippr northeast Mom, but that does look like a good deal. My son’s always tell me about deals on this site: [Slickdeals: The Best Deals, Coupons & Discounts on Laptops, Computers, LCDs, TVs, Dell, HP, Apple, Amazon](http://slickdeals.net/) It’s amazing how many deal sites there are out there!

slickdeals also has forums which can tell you how to find hard-to-find items. My SIL had given up finding a LeapFrog IPad-like toy for my niece, but after reading some “strategies” I snagged her one…very helpful site!!! I also used it to get a wii years ago when they were the “hot” Christmas gift.

This isn’t my best “deal” by a lot…but I LOVE it…a new light blue wool/cashmere light weight car coat length blazer…perfect for my trip to Phoenix this week. $25.

Kohl’s Croft and Barrow suit on 70% off rack. Ticket price was 180 on the jacket and 70% off made it 54, and I had the 30% too! Jacket cost 37.80 and the pants marked down to $24 less my 30% made a whole suit for less than $60. My kids don’t get dressed up, but one is a junior and should have something for job fairs, interviews and weddings (yikes to think of him and his friends being old enough for that soon!)

Kathy Griffin talks about Pajama Jeans in her latest stand up act. She goes on about how comfortable they are.

I tried a “as seen on tv product” recently. While looking for something completely different, I saw the Ahhh Bra on sale at CVS, bought them (they come 2 to a pack) on impulse and love them. I think they feel like pajama bras.

Hi moreover!
I could wear these out. They look just like jeans. Its cold here- so I have a huge , coffee-stained old college sweatshirt on, and THAT I probably wouldn’t wear out, LOL.
