Lord & Taylor is having their clearance sale until Tuesday. Some items up to 90% off. Most are 60% or 80% off the clearance price. Their cashmere which is regularly priced between $150 - $200 is on sale for $14.99. They have racks and racks of the stuff. There is also a coupon in the paper or online for 20% off which will make the cashmere $11.99.

I bought 13 items today including two cashmere sweaters and two jackets for work. Total came go $130 incluidng tax.

bought DH a wallet at Wilson’s Leather - it was marked $18.00, marked down to $14.88 and when he rang it up, the total was $4.88. Gave him my $5, put the $10 back into my wallet. :)

My S bought long-sleeved fitted dress shirts–3 @ Express for $49 - $20 apiece. He also bought a boy’s Ralph Lauren shirt for $25 from Macy’s. He bought an American Eagle one for about $25, one from Ralph Lauren for $69, and two from Sears @ $22.

Don’t have any Lord & Taylor store in HI. While in San Diego, there was a closeout sale on designer Italian jeans for $10 apiece–the women I was with bought 4 pairs apiece & were thrilled.

We are in DE for the weekend. They have an outlet mall with Banana Republic, Brooks Brother, Michael Kor. We needed to get some work clothes for D1 for her internship this summer. Almost everything was 50%, then someone gave me a coupon for BP for additional 25% off. We were able to get most of what she needs for under $500. It may sound like a lot, but she had no business attires. We had to get work dresses (the ones that came up to her neck), blouses (the ones that came up to her neck), and suits. She said all of those clothes have taken all creativity out of her. It was not a happy shopping event for her.

Sellout woot has America Stories of War 36 DVD Collection for $20 + $5 s/h. Excellent, I am set with my dad’s father’s day present, and he will now never, ever, ever lack for something to watch.

Found a dress for my D for her graduation at the BCBG store. $249 marked down to $70. I found the same dress on Bluefly advertised for $170. She is happy, I am happy. I was extremely happy we found something we both could live with at a decent price.

For those with teens that “must have” Aeropostale clothing, t-shirts are 1/2 price or less (some collared shirts and t-shirts are $10), and some shorts are buy one/get one free. I was in our local store today and they told me that the sale will end on Wednesday. I checked online and they have the sale on now too. I don’t know when the online sale ends. Oh, I was describing the sale for men/boys. I don’t know what is on sale for women/girls.

DS was able to get Brooks Brothers no iron shirts for his summer internship at their outlet store where everything was 40% off outlet prices, on top of which he used a 15% coupon.

My son loves the Brooks Brothers no iron shirts he bought earlier this year at the outlet store. I see that they really do not require ironing and are very nice shirts.

Go to your city area or where you may be traveling and check out the restaurants that offer these. Enter the discount code to get the discount. (Be sure to read the fine print for each, as most require minimum purchases) I have bought $25 certificates for $2, and a $10 certificate for 60 cents. You print the certificates out yourself so you have them right away and most are good for one year.

Once you have made a purchase, you will received emails about the discounts.

I have with very good results. I have only bought them when they were 80% off. Have used two or three. Only drawback I can see is that they tend to be for very expensive restaurants. So it’s getting $25 off a meal that will run more than $50. Because they have a minimum you must spend.

There are always on-line coupons/discounts for restaurant.com so you should never have to pay more than a few dollars for a $25 off coupon. And some of the more popular restaurants only have limited coupons each month so they disappear quickly.

Got a new wireless mouse for $18 at Frye’s yesterday. Got a free roundtrip first class flight to Virginia next month for some air miles on Delta. I’ve got to keep better track of all that air miles stuff. It can really work.
