Your Good Buy Of The Day (Part 1)

arisamp, Great deal on that Garmin. If I needed a new one, I would definitely purchase that model at that price.

Got very frustrated looking for a simple belt for my slacks in the ladies’ dept, so walked over to the boys department and found two that were cheaper, fit just right, and nicer than anything I saw in the ladies. Bought them both–$12.99 & $8.99. It was Sears & the belts weren’t even on sale.

Speaking of belts, I am looking for nice men’s dress belts for both my husband and son. They must be all leather, not backed with vinyl that cracks, not reversible and not made in China. I am willing to pay for a good quality belt, but have not been able to find any. Any suggestions?

fishy mom - how about these?

Couldn’t get the links to work but you should find some at J Crew and Brooks Brothers.

Hey Fishymom, try this link and see if it helps you find what you want.

I vote for Lands’ End for nice men’s belts
[Men’s Domed Oil Tanned Leather Belt from Lands’ End](http://www.landsend.com/pp/mens-domed-oil-tanned-leather-belt~233657_-1.html?bcc=y&action=order_more&sku_0=::BLA&CM_MERCH=search-_-belt&origin=search)

and at Lands’ End, everything is 25% off with free shipping til the end of February.

Thanks MM2K; unfortunately, the reviews of women’s belts are not as approving of the women’s belts. :frowning: I think I’ll stick with the few I got yesterday & see how long they last. Was sad one I bought from Banana Republic didn’t last very long at all before the felt/velour rubbed off. Was very surprised!

SmileyCookie is offering free shipping on shamrock cookies for St. Patrick’s Day.
Stopped by Ann Taylor loft - they have a pant style that just really works for me - “modern straight” - I have a couple pairs of corduroys in this fit and I LOVE them for work with flats or boots and a t and cardigan.

Scored 2 pair on the final sale rack. $4.98/each!!! The colors are a little different - one is a dark greeny/blue - I think it will look great with white/gray/black on top. The other pair - kind of took a risk - a light rose - might not use these for work but thought they would also be good on the weekends with the right color - D will help me scour my closet tonight to find some coordinating tops!

Also picked up a cute dressy T - some ruffling/smocking on the scoop neck, cap sleeves and light elastic at the waist - their spring line - today on sale from $29 to $15!

So I walked out with two pairs of pants and a dressy T for $26!

Latest trip to Goodwill
Ralph Lauren Polo shirt and khaki shorts (size 35 hard to find) for S2, an LL Bean shirt for DH, for me
a cute old school style Nike t-shirt,a Lucky t-shirt and a random Target Mossimo shirt that fit me really well. But my best deal was definitely a pr. of black Jones New York capris with the price tag ($60) still attached for $3.99. The whole kit-n-kaboodle was $26.35.

If you buy a Garmin see if it comes with lifetime maps–an update costs the same as the Garmin.

That was me and thank you! I just snagged the last one in stock at our local Staples. DH wanted to wait and research it to death but I decided to grab it anyhow and if he really decides he can’t live with that model for some reason, we can always return it. I think it looks like a perfect unit for us, and it gets very good reviews. And the lifetime maps (LM) addresses the biggest issue we had with our old one, which was that we were never willing to pay $80 or whatever it was for map upgrades, so our map got pretty out of date!

We like buying ours from Costco, because of their no hassle return policy. We have returned several for full refunds when they stopped working. It was long before we had to worry about lifetime maps or lifetime traffic. I like the Magellan because it does the best with pronouncing names with lots of vowels–lots of those in HI.

2 great GW finds today:

Ninja Professional Pro-this had a Target sticker. The box was less than perfect and it was taped up very well so I had no idea as to whether all of the parts were there and if had been used. Lucked out! It was brand new wrapped in original plastic bags inside and instructions were in there. I paid 12.99. At Bed, Bath, and Beyond after coupon it would be $40.

Charter Club 100% cashmere ladies gloves with orig price tag for 99 cents! It is currently on clearance for 15.99 plus 20% off, but unless you spend $99 you would need to pay for shipping. Orig. price was $48.
These are the gloves:

^ I bought this bag in TJMaxx today for $19.99 (bronze which looks like khaki with french blue interior). The store had a selection of bronze, mushroom, black, an animal print, and lime green.

[Speck CandyShell for iPhone 4S - Apple Store (U.S.)](http://store.apple.com/us/product/H7152ZM/A/Speck_CandyShell_for_iPhone_4?fnode=MTY1NDA0NA&fs=m.manufacturer%3Dspeck)
^I also bought this iPhone 4 Speck Case (Candy Shell–hot pink/black) in TJMaxx for $6.99. This is a great deal. I purchased the same case, but different color at the Apple Store not too long ago for $34.99. The one in TJMaxx may have been a discontinued color.

thanks so much about the tip on the Baggallini! I have a friend who raves about them & insisted I borrow one of hers for my upcoming road trip, but I’ll have to make a stop at T.J. Maxx on the way home.

Love the look of the baggallini. Nearest TJMaxx is about 15 miles away
might be worth the drive.

Today at GW I got DH a nice LL Bean shirt and for me an UnderArmor pink t-shirt. Also a paperback book,a loaf of bread and a baby doll to take in to work (preschool).

I know what you’re thinking
a loaf of bread from GW? Yes, the bread truck delivers there everyday. The same Nature’s Own whole wheat bread that costs almost $3 at the grocery store sells for $1.29 at GW. I’m at GW anyhow
might as well get bargain bread!

Inventory from one TJMaxx to another can vary greatly. I hope you have luck with finding the Baggallini bag at your nearest TJMaxx. I was so happy to find this model today and at a good price.

This is your fault, nysmile! I stopped by a tjmaxx and bought this little zipper bag [Baggallini “Zipper” Bag](http://baggallini.bagyou.com/ttp/Baggallini-Zipper-Bag/products_id/1838/keywords/triple%20zip/x/34/y/12/sort/2a.html) and a cellphone case for my DH. Had to be careful to get one that worked for the 4S and not just the iphone 4 (they are slightly different). I wasn’t thrilled with the case choices and it may go back, but its the thought that counts, right?

I also bought a little red mini coope diecast car that looks a bit like my s’s car. It will cost me more to ship it to him than I paid for it!

** edit - this is the little bagg I bought ($16.99) in a taupe color http://www.amazon.com/Baggallini-Black-Triple-Zip-Bagg/dp/B0043GMHN0</a></p>

Nice bags! It is tempting!
