I also saw some new towels at TJMaxx and some pretty comforters. The athletic wear was very picked over, I hope they restock soon, I was looking for some new pants.
I did see another Fossil purse like the one I bought my daughter, in black, that I put aside for birthday or Christmas, my daugher loved the tan color and she has an old black one she might want to replace by then.
For whatever reason, they are owned by the same company, our Marshall’s never has the same amount of things, like purse’s, luggage, etc and they don’t restock as often. The reason I’m not sure about, but I gravitate more to TJMaxx since I haven’t found as much lately at Marshall’s.

I looked for lamps, in ours in Ct, not much to pick from.

That’s like mine, Marshall’s shoes section is huge, but the luggage/purse’s is skimpy and the selection not as nice. Maybe they do that on purpose.

Late to the conversation, but I was just going to say that Marshalls has a men’s shoe dept. and I have not seen men’s shoes at my TJMaxx. I also passed a Marshall’s Shoe Store (free standing store) not too long ago, but I did not go in.

Costco has $100 off for BellaLite hair remover this week.
It has a good reviews on Amazon.com, but the $100 off and good return policy from Costco, I bought it…

Arling, I have a few coupon sites bookmarked, sometimes “couponmountain” might have one and “retailmenot” might not. I have found many coupons that have given me great discounts and using Upromise also, have gotten additional savings. I just got an email saying they transfered 50.00 to my account from Upromise…the holiday’s and buying a computer must have given me the 50.00 needed for transfer, the way I look at it, it costs me nothing and it’s free money, not a bad deal.

TJMaxx had a LOT of Sak bags this week in my store, cloth and leather, some very pretty, it’s not my style, but if you like them, they were all around 19.99.

I stopped into our local Banana Republic today. I bought a pair of men’s straight fit pants–original price=$69.50. On sale for $28.97 plus an additional 30% off. Final price=$20.28.
They’re straight fit cotton pants–charcoal grey with thin pinstripes.

<a href=“Banana Republic”>Banana Republic;
^I also bought one pair their Emerson Fit Men’s Khaki’s (which never seem to be on sale). This is a fabulous fit for thin guys who like a slimmer look. Original price-$59.50 When I got to the register, I discovered they were on sale for $41.65. Still a bit expensive, but better than $59.50! If you’re stumped on what fit to get the young slim men in your life, have them try on a pair of these.

I needed a new floor lamp. Someone suggested Lowes, and they actually seeemed to have some reasonable choices on line. The one I got was defective and I wasn’t that wild about it anyway. I went back to the store to return it, with a printout of one I preferred. They didn’t have it in stock as they had clearanced it a few mos back. It was still full price on line. They were able to get it transferred from another store onthe other side of town (where it was listed at full price), and sold it to me for their (clearanced) price-- 1/2 price. :)

TARGET!!! Was picking up some Itunes gift cards for the kids’ Easter basket. They had a 4 pack of $15 I tunes cards (so $60) for $51. I bought 3 packs of them!! I was planning on getting $50 cards to start so this was a bonus!!!

Marshall’s is loaded with cute new spring sandals and shoes. I was just browsing and ended up with a pair of red loafers and a pair of tan strappy sandals on corky platforms…
$29.99 each :)

jym626, that’s a nice lamp, I was looking for a floor lamp also, with a tiffany-style top, but couldn’t find one this trip (bought one 6 years ago there)

Thanks, I like a desk lamp there. I had one finally give out that was a bit more intricate in colors, but one of those desk lamps would go with many things.
