jym626, my daughters think I am crazy when I talk about anything from College Confidential so now I just need to order those undies and confirm it to them! SO FUNNY!!!

Jym, the undies are, of course, mandatory for the AFTER picture. Told you it would be brutal!

I plan to wear it like this

The J Crew Factory site has 30% off all sale (redline) prices, which is just about everything. I picked up two cotton/cashmere V neck sweaters for DH for $25 each. Are they top quality cashmere? No, but at $25 that’s less then many sweatshirts and will look great with a solid t’shirt underneath, paired with jeans or khaki’s on the weekends. I also picked up one for S2 as they came in slim as well. This was a better price then was at the outlet today.

Thanks, ttparent. I just ordered two sweatshirts to put away for Christmas. I thought that was a great deal.

Not sure if this is a good buy. Saw a pair of Lilly Pulitzer shorts at a local boutique but I just could not spend $70 on a pair of shorts. Anyway Lilly had a online sale today. Got the shorts I’ve been coveting for $39 free shipping. Pretty proud of myself for no buying anything else lol! Really good prices.

Also picked up a pair of Sofft sandals at Macy’s for less than $20. It was last weekend, they were 75% off plus I had an additional 20% off coupon.

ttparent- wish I knew which school to buy!

^You’ve got to be kidding, there are so many nice ones for Vandy. Or you can get more than one schools by doing multiple orders, that was what I did to get more than just 2.

Nah, not kidding, I don’t need any college gear for myself. I would buy something for my D but we won’t know where she is going to go until the Spring!

Am VERY EXCITED! Bought some ink for my printer. The batch before was ON SALE @ $285 for 15 sticks (special eBay price and about 33% lower than manufacturer). This one was $47.03 on eBay, including over 11 sticks of ink with free expedited shipping! (My printer’s ink is sold in solid wax sticks rather than traditional toners or ink cartridges.)

Also bought H a torx T3, T4, T5 & T6 screwdriver set for $3.15 INCLUDING postage from eBay (there was none locally except if we wanted like 20 pieces for $24 at Sears, IF it was in stock & we would have had to trek down there).

Also was able to find the mouthpieces we use for our clinics cheaper by $4 AND with NO POSTAGE charge (postage is usually about $40+). Gee, I better stop saving money, or as H says, we’ll go broke. LOL! Actually, these are things our non-profit & H needed.

Also returned some glasses yesterday at Costco & bought TWO pairs for the price of the one we returned plus only $40! (Got a new pair or Rx glasses & one Rx sunglasses.)

H got a $104 refund from returning his sunglasses that were SUPPOSED to transition from nearly clear to pretty dark (they were too dark for indoors & too light for outdoors–never changed color much as far as we could see). H just got a pair of sunglasses that had lenses that were the same color ALL the time with no Rx.

At Goodwill this week
got S2 an UnderArmour shirt. For me
a pair of black GAP shorts, Calvin Klein darkwash pencil jeans and a Vineyard Vines polo shirt.

Woot has a refurbished TomTom for $55 today. I picked one up for DH and I–since D took hers to college, we are missing it.

For those who are buying text books for your students. Alibris.com has coupons:

kung ($3 of $30), fu ($8 off $60) and panda ($15 off $100)

You can reuse coupons again and again. I bought 5 seperate text books from them saving about $45 in 3 separate orders. Plus if you are member of fatwallet.com, you can get another 4% cash back.

Alibris is very similar to amazon.com book seller, they have many of the same used books sellers but you can get another $15 off on top for each $100 spent.

Banana Republic has 40% off a regular priced item today.W8NZYJL276K4 code at checkout.

My daughters like Tom’s shoes
they just had free shipping, hope that will come back, but the 5.00 off coupon is good until 9/1. (CAMPUSAUG) coupon code.

Went to Sears and browsed around the clothing; found a cute v necked knit 3/4 length sleeve pullover tunic - just what I was looking for. Cost 14.99 and by signing up for the credit card I got a discount and a $15 credit so will have 2 bucks credit on my new sears CC. Free shirt!

TJMaxx Today!

They have more Bagallini bags! I bought a black one—the model with the two zippered compartments on the top and 2 more zippered compartments on the front. I love this model–lightweight, roomy, and organized. It was $19.99.

I also bought a pair of slip on comfy shoes from Naturalizer, a pair of DKNY jeans, a very cute ROXY sweatshirt with a cowl type neckline and hood, a shirt for me, and a shirt for my husband. Grand total including the Bagallini bag was $130. I think I did pretty well–:)

Those Bagalinis are popular!

Just returned from a shopping trip with D. Victoria’s Secret sends coupons all the time (don’t think we’ve bought her any new underwear for 2 years, cause they keep sending coupons for free pairs!). D got a pair of yoga pants, a large bottle of lotion and 2 pairs of underwear for under $30!

From there went to American Eagle - everything 40% off, even clearance. Picked up two short sleeved buttons down plaids for son for $17 each - better than the original $40!

Then stopped at Gap - I picked up a pair of white Gap crops (not Capri! - crop is at ankle) originally $59 for $17 and another button down plaid for S for $15.

Now to hope that S likes at least ONE of the 3 shirts I bought!
