Your Good Buy Of The Day (Part 1)

DS needs a suit for interviewing, so we went to Men’s Wearhouse, where I had a Black Friday coupon for 70% off a suit. He even insisted on paying. :D

Bought a designer handbag for D at Costco. It’s said to be about 30% or more off the manufacturer’s suggested retail price. It’s all black leather and H & I think it’s quite lovely. It will be a combo Christmas/Graduation gift for her. It’s more than I’ve EVER paid for a handbag (more than twice the price of my Coach bag) and costs more than 3 of our suitcases!

Didn’t go out since i had two flat tires, but i bought H three pair of levis & a new mailbox.
I guess there is some advantage to being predictable.

Just purchased leather riding boots and North Face winter boots for DD on Macys.com . Deal is Buy One / Get One Free with free shipping on orders over $75. Offer ends Monday.

Riding Boots: [Timberland Earthkeepers Women’s Shoes, Bethel Buckle Tall Zip Boots - Shoes - Macy’s](http://www1.macys.com/shop/product/timberland-earthkeepers-womens-shoes-bethel-buckle-tall-zip-boots?ID=495179&PseudoCat=se-xx-xx-xx.esn_results)

If anyone knows of some great deals for gifts to send to the kids at school, please post  Harry and David is offering 50% off “select gifts” tomorrow so I’m going to check that out.

Got H a pair of dress shirts at Express. When we got home, we read about a coupon for $60 off purchase of $180 or more. Went back to the store & returned the two shirts & repurchased with an additional 2 shirts plus two pullover ts. Instead of $88 for 2 shirts, spent under $144 for 4 shirts plus the two pullover tshirts. Not the best deal we’ve ever gotten, but at least the shirts are fitted and look pretty good on H and probably will be good on S as well. They will be fine with exchanges as well & can never figure out what to buy S anyway.

Just got 4 jackets online – 2 for H & 2 for S at Macy’s for $265 total, mailed to us. They did NOT have any of these jackets in our HI store and one of them is an Amalfi slim cut, another is a London Fog, while two are “weatherproof,” with built-in liners. Was able to use a 20% off coupon with it to bring the price before tax down from $319 to $255+. I think S will be pleasantly surprised and hopefully like one or both of the two wool blend jackets/coats, especially as the weather gets colder for him. As far as we know, he does NOT have any nice, warm wool jackets and the jacket we’ve seen him wear is pretty thin.

You can send the Costco.com fruit tower. It’s only $29.99 delivered and includes pears, applies, and some candy. Would be a nice gift for exam period or end of the term. Unfortunately, you have to specify when you want it shipped & can’t have it shipped until December which would be too close to when D leaves to come home. Oh well, it is a nice gift for others.

Landsend seemed to have a good doorbuster…8.00 turtlenecks for men and woman but they urge you to check out quickly…I did and had my son’s shirt taken out of my basket with their apologies…will not order with them again this year. You put an item in your basket and it’s not saved for 5 minutes?

I did get 2 DSW coupons and bought my daughter a pair of boots she had her eye on with free shipping, 15.00 off and I had a 10.00 coupon.

Debruns, I tried to buy a Lands End item with no luck. Their sale started at 5am CST which is 3am where I am and I refused to get up that early. Tried at 4:30am when I was already getting up but everything was gone.
I got an email with some good deals from Starbucks.com but their website is crashing. Won’t load.

Bought son a down jacket from Landsend 30% off and free shipping

Looking for a great deal on a Dyson vacuum to replace my old one. Any ideas? I can pick it up in San Francisco or in Texas.

xiggi, I got a dyson dc-33 a couple of weeks ago on Woot[/url”>http://www.woot.com/]Woot. They sell them pretty often there. Mine was a refurbished one and cost $217 including shipping. It looks like new and works really, really well.

Himom
I sent college girl the costco tower last year the week exams started. She loved it! Re-gifted the candies and brought the empty boxes home to reuse for xmas gifts. You just reminded me to go look and see what is available this year.

Check bradsdeals dot com for the dyson. They seem to show up frequently.

groupon had brit perfume half off

dte…do you have a link???

Not a great deal but my D wanted Dublin boots [Dublin River Boot - Waterproof Footwear from SmartPak Equine](<a href=“Dublin River Boot II”>Dublin River Boot II) and Smartpak was having 10% off today and free shipping. It saved me 20 dollars. Expensive but I know she will wear get good use out of them.
Also ordered D underwear from Aerie. It worked out to just 3.44 a pair. I think that sale ends today.

Best Buy has iTunes cards for 15% off and free shipping. No code needed.

Got two sweaters for the price of one at Macy’s for a total of $44! I went through ebates so perhaps something else there too.
