Your Good Buy Of The Day (Part 1)

FYI - Costco is clearing out their cashmere (men’s cable-knit sweaters for $30 - a pretty good deal).

Is this the bike? How cool and cute!!

I just hit the jackpot at the local TJMaxx - Tumi luggage that I’ve been eyeing, cheaper than at the outlet!

Did you all hear that Target will now match all other stores including online discounts and Amazon pricing all year round now? [Target will offer price matching year-round - Jan. 8, 2013](Target will offer price matching year-round)

BunsenBurner, yes that’s the bike. For some reason at Target online it is listed as 19", but it’s actually a 28" bike.

Love the Target price match!

If you have a livingsocial account, this is a deal for free money ($50 for spending $24) for your 529 account with a little bit of work and requirement to open a new GradSave account (giving your personal info and your beneficiary 529 account info).

I have been looking at this cashmere snood online at JCrew for the past month.I did not want to pay $168 ( plus shipping and tax). It is still full price on line.

But, I found it today in my local JCrew on sale for $40.00!

Great find, nearandfar! I love J. Crew and buy many things for D and her BF there. They currently have an extra 30% off final sale items - the code is STYLEFIND. This is in the store and online.

I found a pink satin bowling type jacket with black trim at a thrift shop for $2.99. I need it for a Grease spoof show I’m doing. I LOVE this thrift shop!

More thrift store deals…at Goodwill got DH a Jos.A. Banks fleece vest, got S2 a RL Polo quarter zip pullover (looks unworn) and a new with tags Columbia swimsuit.

Didn’t buy but saw some good clearance deals on Cephalon cookware at Target.

Lucky brand jeans at Amazon 1/2 off today… How do sizes run with these?

Lucky Brand runs a little big. The styles I have stretch A TON!

I signed up for Groupon and never bought anything until last week when I purchased a two-night stay at a boutique hotel in NYC ($185–with taxes it turned out to be $235 per night). According to my H, (who’s travels to NYC for work at least once twice a month) it’s a great price for a NYC hotel room in midtown. Place had good reviews on Trip Advisor. Going this week, so I’ll get to see if it really is a “deal”.

Bromfield…did you use ebates to buy your Groupon? 6% takes a little of the sting out of the tax bite…

Never used Groupon before the hotel room purchase. What are ebates? Sounds like something I should have known about. Next time.

I love Goodwill-supposedly we have the largest in the entire country right here in Seattle. Over the weekend I got a like-new Helly Hansen jacket in my size and favorite color (purple) for $13. That’s much more than I usually spend on one item there, but I know these coats got for $150+ depending on style. D went to school today in a sweater she paid $1.29 for there-it’s from Nordstrom originally-that’s what-$50 or more?

Bromfield, after you go, let us know the name of the hotel.

Ooh, I’m jealous of the HH jacket purchase. I got a great deal on a purple HH jacket on ebay many years ago, but then lost it, and I’ve been looking for a replacement ever since!

… until January 23. Promo code JAN15. Free shipping, always.

NYmom…did I miss what your promo code was for?

LLBean - it’s in the “heading”…:)

not a deal but we were delayed 2 hours on jet blue and they gave us each a 50.00 credit. I received a 30 checkform ebates thanks to you all
