<p>I love Amazon Prime and use it a lot. It has absolutely reduced my gas bill because I live in a rural area and have to travel to buy lots of things if I do not order them for delivery. I’ve paid the $79 for three years now and find it to be a great deal. The only caveat I would offer is that, if you’re contemplating purchasing the service, I suggest you peruse Amazon to see if the things you think you might order are Prime eligible. I find most things are–gift items, books, electronics–but a lot of things, especially the less expensive items, are not. I have, however, bought $5 copies of books for members of my book club and had them shipped to them for free. Hard to beat that.</p>

<p>For those of you who ordered from Burt’s Bees, I noticed that my order confirmation lists the order total which did take off 20% at time of purchase, but the shipment order total did NOT take off the 20% (it was added back into the total cost). I have not yet checked my credit card to see what I was charged. You might want to check and make sure that you did in fact receive that 20% discount!</p>

<p>Okay, I called customer service just because it was easier for me than checking my credit card right now, which I do plan to do. They said that I should disregard what it says on the shipping statement, and that I was charged the amount on my initial order form. In other words, they said that I am receiving free shipping + 20% off the order.</p>
<p>Editing- I just checked my credit card, because this just did not sit well with me. Customer service at BB was correct. I did end up getting the free shipping and the 20% off, so they did honor their promotion. The shipping confirmation amount was incorrect.</p>
<p>I always PDF the checkout screen view and save the file just in case.</p>
